Tucson natives Scott and Fini met as summer lifeguards in 1987. While proving to be opposites in demeanor, they found common ground on their tastes regarding straw hats, music, bottle openers and flip-flops.The Landing is born of a collage of influences from the waterfront communities ranging from the Caribbean, the Florida Keys, Mexico and Southern California. It’s a lifestyle footprint – or flip flop print – that we hope will be appreciated by others with similar affinities.Scott’s time spent on and underneath the water, have heavily influenced our firm commitment to purchasing our seafood exclusively from sustainably responsible fisheries. I gotta be honest, this place was sorta dead both times I’ve went. But other than that, it’s pretty awesome. The food was really good. The service was great. Isaac the waiter was just so personable, friendly and always there when we needed him. The birria tacos were everything my taste buds asked for. My gf had a quesadilla and it was awesome. Unfortunately, prices are a bit high for this little town but it was still less pricy than my home town of NYC. I’ll keep going from time to time as it’s always a great experience.

I will be going back, I sat at the bar with my just ex boyfriend so I wasn’t in the best of moods. But bar tender made me feel relaxed and made a great drink. Food came out fast and was cooked perfectly.

Went last night on a whim and we are so glad we did. They have fantastic food and the bartender gave great service! The biggest surprise was the live music, they were great! We will definitely be back.

Ordered the wings extra crispy, they were soggy and just barely done. Also ordered a salad with the dressing on the side. The salad came dressed with a side of dressing. Waitress asked how it was said it was just okay and pointed out the soggy wings, then hardly saw her again.

Great happy hour. The pretzel was amazing. We also got the nachos which had a nice crispy, thin chip. All the food was really good. Elite shrimp, La Paz taco and Tostado trio. Our server was quick and friendly. Service lately when we’ve been out hasn’t been great so we were very happy that Gabriel was on top of it and took care of us.

I loved their weekly grassfed burger that had a coconut rum sauce & grilled pineapple, the accommodated for me doing it with no bun and no cheese, & re-did their cauliflower rice to be without corn for me. I also love their birria tacos, salmon tacos, and hot dog. I appreciate their all their beef is locally raised in AZ, grassfed, without hormones or antibiotics. I’ve gone to their location on Swan several times, and I love this restaurant! I’ve had good salads there too.

Dining here was a pleasant surprise. My family and I had tried to eat at El Charro down the road but they were closed for the 4th. We swung over here and it was Taco Tuesday, and the tacos were outstanding! Brianna was our server and she did a great job, very attentive with the three kids. The crunchy beef birria, carne asada, and shrimp tacos are must orders! Their prickly pear palomas were perfect cocktails. We have three kids and the kids menu gave plenty of options, the popcorn chicken and fries were a huge hit. I ate too many of their fries because they were so good. Homemade guacamole was refreshing to see. It is not a big restaurant and it was an older/retiree crowd that night, likely because it was the 4th. So keep that in mind if you have hungry/hangry kids, I could see there being a wait on a non-holiday night.

May 16, 2023 dined in with a friend. The Margarita was so bad I figured I would ask for a shot of Grand Mariner to make it taste better, wrong and 1 shot was $8.00. I had 3 tacos that for 3 was $8 on Taco Tuesday, that was more reasonable. Amazing 3 tacos and 1 shot were the same price.

This place cleans up nicely. Was here several times in it’s former life but The Landing has transformed this space into a great atmosphere. The service was incredible. Casey was short staffed but did a great job running the bar, waiting tables, and greeting customers. The food was delicious. We had carne asada nachos and the buffalo wings. The grapefruit-tini was amazing. Plenty of screens to watch your favorite team and plenty of beers on tap. Glad we gave this place a chance. We will be back.
