The Landing is China Lakes go to for pizza, fast bites and dessert treats. A seasonal timeline from summer through fall, it is regularly packed on the weekends as a stop for trail riders and fisherman looking for a bite. Gifford’s finest ice cream is served here – Caramel Sea Salt Truffle is our favorite. The staff is always amazing – fast, friendly, and the food always exactly what it’s supposed to be.

Great place to go relax with some ice cream or food. They even have seafood there. I always try to make a video for our YouTube @JMBlueNose when we are in the area. There is a dock for boats as well as parking, and fishing can do right at one place. With great staff also.

I am glad they have vegan ice cream options. I just wish they had more than one flavor. I got the chocolate chunk shake and added peanut butter sauce. I waited over 15 minutes for my shake. It was a relatively busy day. They normally are quicker than that. Good customer service and quaint atmosphere.

Burgers are pretty good. Onion rings are very good and service is always great!! Prices are in line with other similar drive up/take out places in the area.

I highly recommend you stop by the landing! I had the deep fried oreo sundae, it was huge and yummy. The young man at the order window was very pleasant and respectful. I definitely will be going back there to try 1 of the food baskets. Price is worth what you get for food!
