Stopped in with friends to celebrate a birthday and loved our time here. Nice, quaint bar nestled right in the heart of Polo. The bartender was quick to greet us and direct us to our friends who were already seated in the room adjacent to the bar. The bar is Nicely decorated with lots of dark woods that make for a truly warm and inviting atmosphere. We ordered off of the seasonal drink menu with me having the brown sugar old fashion and my wife the seasonal mule. Both of our drinks were delicious and we enjoyed them enough to order another round. We placed our dinner orders with me having the spicy smash burger and her the fried chicken sandwich. Both of us had the tater tots which were also quite yummy and fried to perfection. All of our meals were great and we all enjoyed our time there.

We came in with a small group for lunch on a Friday, and it was everyone’s first time in. The bar and most of the tables in the bar area were full, so we were excited.
We ordered the fried chicken sandwich and smash cheese burgers, both of which were good! I don’t usually finish my burgers because I’m not a huge fan of ground beef, but they made the burger perfectly. There was a perfect amount of all the toppings nothing was overpowering.
We ended up here again the later, in the evening, for dinner after some family came to visit and wanted to go out for food. Our dinner party included a sweet puppy, and they were nice enough to let us sit on the patio with our puppy. They have a huge patio, so this place is great for larger parties.
On our 2nd visit, we had the smash burger and the spicy smash, cheese fries, and cheese tots, all of which were super good!
Definitely recommend giving them a try or a re-try as we were very happy with each visit. If you are not in Polo, there is another bar in Oregon that seems like it is owned by the same people as they have the exact same menu.

Shame on the owner and the staff especially Taylor, you should be ashamed of yourselves. A new person walks in and automatically feels like an outsider.
This is the WORST bar I have been too since coming to Polo. I was there for serveral hours NO ONE even smiled at me let alone said hi. Then they played bingo assuming everyone knew what was going on, I did not. Then the second round came and I was standing less 2 feet away from the man Taylor (from the staff) encouraged to play (must be part of the click) but did not even include me and it was obvious I was a first comer to the bar. I am so disappointed in the staff, the clientele let alone the owner that does not train his employees to make everyone feel included. UNLESS YOUR IN THE LAMPLIGHT CLICK don’t bother to go

A group of us were there Nov 2nd to try the breakfast. It was great And they did awesome keeping up with every seat full. It will be nice to have somewhere else for breakfast in town, even if it’s only on Sundays for now.

I’ve picked up and dined in here about a handful of times and have been pleased every time. I like that the menu is simple and not overwhelming with options. Grateful to have this restaurant in the area especially when I’m feeling lazy and decide I don’t want to cook and can get in & out of here with a full belly in a timely fashion. Burgers have been delicious every time & the wings were good too. Excited to go back and try more things on the menu but the burgers are so good I end up getting them every time lol. They have great daily specials as well.
Also, they did a really good job fixing this place up…. sometimes these newer restaurants modernize a place & it jus feels cold with no character. Not the case at Lamplight. It’s clean & more modern, but still feels cozy & inviting. I like the wood on the back bar. 2 thumbs up from this gal.

Wish I took pix. We went for a quick lunch and spent the whole time gabbing. The waitress was super amazing and handled Leonard like a boss!! Razzing her about mushrooms lol. She was super amazing just like the food. Omg goooo and eat til you can’t walk!!

Servers were great! Atmosphere good! Drinks good!! Food…Everything we ordered tasted like grease!! We will never be ordering food here again. Also…no silverware? Had to ask for a knife to cut my sandwich and it was plastic. Very disappointed

Got there a little after noon a few weeks ago. Ordered our food after having a drink. Were told about 15 minutes later that it would be a while for our food because there was a meeting going on. Took about an hour more. What business has a meeting going on that close to opening time in the first place? Food was ok. I gave server a 5 star rating, bc the poor girl had to explain this unprofessional situation to customers.

The do have one new bartender the has a habit of pouring doubles automatically on mixed drinks. I had had 5 beverages and s double smash burger and had no idea why my bill was $70+ dollars
