I hated the food the first couple years they were open. Well I just came here again and they got a better menu and the food was way better! I had a club and it was delicious. Someone gave my daughter some free fish and Duck food. Very sweet of them. I will be back. I’m so happy the menu is bigger! My kid had chicken of course, husband got cat fish and he said it was delicious. I loved there hush puppies too.

This was my wife and my first visit here. We wanted a mid Sunday date and decided to check it out. The view from the deck was amazing. We were sat immediately. The server was friendly…. those were the good experiences.
My wife ordered the catfish basket. I ordered a pattymelt. And we ordered cheese sticks. 35 minutes later our server came out to let us know they are out of catfish. Still no cheese sticks. After we had been there 45 minutes I threw some money on the table for our sweet teas and we left to find some place to feed us.

We love this spot. We have been here around 25 times, and it is really good. We always get Jessica as our server, and she is a sweetheart who does a great job. Great drinks, views, and food. We really enjoy feeding the ducks, so ask for some duck food if you see them. We usually come before noon so the weather doesn’t get too hot. Try the advocado toast and ask for the candied bacon.

To say I love this place is an understatement. Not only do they have excellent food and beverages the service is outstanding. From Monica Thomasson creating this fabulous Bloody Mary to Jake Ryan cooking excellent food and being so creative with menu choices and specials. This filet from the Valentines event was one of the best I have ever eaten. The owner Brent Allen makes us feel like family and shows every customer appreciation for their business. They have the very best hamburger in East Texas even without the bun. If you are a breakfast fan this is the place to go especially if you like gravy and biscuits. I highly recommend Lakeside Grill in Tyler,Texas and look forward to many more positive changes. We use their boat storage facilities for our pontoon boat and have a great spot for camping with our RV. Go see them. You will be happy you did.

I’m torn writing this because the food at The Lakeside Grill is genuinely amazing, However, the service was a HUGE letdown. The waitress, Kim, is incredibly rude and makes us feel unwelcome. The other waitresses are the complete opposite, And the owner is incredibly nice, Kim‘s attitude has been like this for a few MONTHS now. It’s a shame that such great food is overshadowed by such poor service.

Me and the dogs love to go hangout and grab a bite to eat at the marina, Monica always has treats for the dogs and will even bring a water bowl for them to be taken care of while you relax and eat. They have friendly staff AND AMAZING FOOD. (Try the Tx Whiskey Burger) you can also join their fun karaoke nights or just kick back and listen. All around a fun time for me and the dogs. Would recommend!

Jennifer is a great bartender, and also provides excellent service. She’s personable and fun, we had some loud laughs. My girlfriend’s avocado toast was delicious, and so were my biscuits w/ gravy. The Spiked Iced Latte & Irish Coffee- oh man. So good.

This is my absolute favorite place! My happy place … The beautiful lake view, the fact that you can pull up on your boat, the way the staff makes you feel like family, the food, the music, the laughs and good times… There’s so much I love about this place. Summers are poppin with outside seating and live entertainment most weekends.. winter is still warm on the deck with heaters placed throughout and karaoke on Fridays. There’s always fun and tasty specials throughout the week. It’s just overall my go-to when I’m needing to get away from the craziness of life. A special shout out to Monica THE BEST BARTENDER EVER!! She always greets you with a smile and even when things get busy she’s still so attentive and sweet! Another shout out to Jake! He is an artist in the kitchen, everything he makes comes out fabulous!! Shout out to all the other staff for being so awesome and especially Brent who has gone above and beyond to create a wonderful lakeside dining experience! Go check them out Thursday – Monday!
