Our waitress Renee really made the visit special. She was super bubbly, had great food recommendations, and you could tell she was working hard to make sure everyone had a good time. The ambiance here is very chill and relaxed. If you sit outside, you get a nice view of the lake which makes the whole experience even better. We will definitely be back. It is a great spot by the water with awesome service and tasty food.
The fries were enjoyable to eat, sandwich was large and the chipotle mayo brought it all together. Cool atmosphere with a bar, tv’s and lakeside view.
Large salad!
We also split the fish and shrimp platter. Didn’t care for the hush puppies, which was disappointing as I was looking forward to them.
We loved that you can bring a dog out on the patio.
The inside was fun and reminded me a bit of the bars in Wisconsin which I miss.
We will be back.
The food here is amazing! The cheese sticks are huge and perfectly cheesy, the chicken tenders are big, crispy, and juicy, and the wings were some of the best I’ve had — full of flavor and cooked just right. Great portions, a fun casual vibe, and the sunset over the lake from the patio made it perfect.
I’m so excited to have discovered Eagle Mountain Lake—and The Lakehouse Restaurant made it even better! The food was amazing and the hospitality was just as great. We came for the view and stayed for the mozzarella sticks (seriously, nothing like them!) and the jalapeño burger—wow!!
It’s awesome to have a place like this that serves great food right on the lake, year-round. Don’t miss happy hour either—the beer was the perfect afternoon refresh! Can’t wait to come back again and again!
The place is definitely family-friendly, with the main dining area separated from the bar. The service was great— my server was attentive and friendly, even though she forgot the silverware and napkin until it was a little late. I ordered the quesadilla because it was Cajun chicken had corn and beans inside something more than the usual quesadilla however I was personally disappointed—it lacked grill marks and texture, almost like it was microwaved or cooked on very low heat. It reminded me more of a soft burrito than a crisp quesadilla.
That said, the menu had a solid selection, and they offer cocktails, beer, and likely wine. They have drink specials as well. I was hoping to try their daily soup, but was told they stopped serving soup a while ago, even though it’s still listed on the menu. Excellent prices by the way.
All in all, a great place for the view, a casual meal, and a relaxed vibe. Would definitely return for the atmosphere and service— i’ll even order the quesadilla. I will just make sure to say I like it a bit crispy.
