Lis, Jess, and Colleen were so gorgeous…but that was nothing compared to their amazing service. By the end of the day they felt like family. I’m going to order one of the Eddie Bauer shirts they wear, so I can feel more like them. Honestly, I’ve never experienced service like this in my 70 years. I was swimming and having a rough time in the Morgan’s wake and the girls were super attentive to my dehydration. Service like none other, I wish more resorts had staff like this.

Based on the glowing online reviews and location, my husband and I decided on celebrating our anniversary by dining at The Sagamore. The $20 charge for parking should have deterred us but it didn’t. The fact that our appetizers came out in 5 minutes with our entrées, also should have been a deterrent…but it didn’t,…the swarm of bees and an unsweetened tea that was the sweetest thing I ever tasted, didn’t deter us. The food was terrible and the service was almost non-existent. There were only two other tables occupied. That should have been the biggest clue as to what was to come. On the bright side, the view was spectacular. I have had much better food at the local diner in town.

Food was good. The service was friendly. Our waiter did seem a bit off but all in all a lovely place. The view is spectacular. They basically brought out my daughters meal immediately which was great as she’s 2.

This is the best place at the Sagamore to grab a frosty beverage and take in the beautiful views of lake George. The bar portion of the establishment is very nicely decorated and has a casual “lake life” vibe . They also have a nice outdoor patio seating area with regular tables. They are on the pricey side of things, but in my experience, you get your money’s worth with very professionally mixed drinks.

Food was good.
Waiters need a little more training.
For this kind of restaurant and it’s location service needs to be 5*. I would give 2.5*the most.

Pricy, but there’s beautiful views and great food and service. Make sure to leave time to walk the grounds and see the hotel if you’re not staying there

We tried to go for lunch – they charge $20 just for PARKING at the restaurant. That is…obscene. We turned around and ate elsewhere in town.

The service is awfully slow and horrible. The food is inedible and it’s obscenely overpriced. Avoid at all costs

The lobster roll I had was scrumptious, but the service was only so so.
