Nice spot to have a drink after a day in the water. It’s not far from Winfield or mistletoe campgrounds and they do have pretty good food. I had the hot wings and they were really good. The menu is mostly bar food but it is good. Draft beer, mixed drinks, pool tables, they got it. Service is slow. You will wait. I would recommend stopping by this place if your in the area.

Frequented this place quite a bit when it was Sissys. Tried it for the first time since it became the Lake House. The wait staff was friendly and very attentive to needs. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food from the philly to the Bar B Que. We will be returning, it has a great atmosphere and not stuffy as some joints have become in Columbia County.

Servers spend WAY too much time making single-purpose trips. After we finally got a server to tend to us she was excellent but I suspect she was related to the owner somehow. On our last trip here the service was also horrible. The food is bar food but it is quite good and the Friday night ribeye steaks are excellent.

The food is mostly fried and skimpy at that. I swear the salad dressing is watered down with mayonnaise. I do not recommend the food.
