This store is a delicious darling! Amazing lake views! Be warned that you may need reservations during high season. The crispy fried flounder may be more crispy for the liking of some but it was exactly the way that I like….Spot on! This store is located in a pleasant area and if you do not arrive early or make reses, you might have to wait in the queue outside. By the way, the twisted shrimp appetiser was absolutely wicked!!! The staff was uber-excellent!

What a gem this place is!! Incredibly friendly, helpful bartender… Whitney rocks!! Food is fantastic! We shared a burger and the Salmon dinner…with the bourbon pecan sauce…I want to put that on everything!! Burger was outstanding. Great drinks! The view… gorgeous! Sunset is beautiful. We’re visiting from out of town and finding local spots like The Lake House just makes the trip so memorable. Wish we lived closer…I’d be a regular for sure!

We arrived at the Lake House having never been here before. Very comfortable, family oriented restaurant. We were greeted by our waitress, Kerri, with an inviting smile and welcoming personality. After a few minutes as if we had been regulars for years. She provided good suggestions for our food. She was hustling the whole time we were there to ensure not only we were taken care of but her other customers. The food came out timely and did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious! Pops cut rib eye grilled porter house pork chop with collard greens, baked beans, and the boom boom shrimp ap! All within walking distance. Fabulous! Sorry we aren’t staying longer. Could see this being a great place to visit. Great waitress Kerri!

Food, service and views are all spot on! The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the hostess, she seemed very upset about life!! That’s a slippery slope too because she’s the first impression! Thank goodness for Jess, our server, she was phenomenal! She made very good recommendations, super friendly and very efficient. She checked on us periodically, kept our drinks filled and was genuinely interested in us as her customers. The food was delicious! Steak was cooked perfectly as ordered and well seasoned, shrimp were succulent and super thin coating, the baked potato was hot and baked nice and soft and the twisted shrimp was addicting! Did I mention house made blue cheese dressing?!! Definitely a five star establishment and highly recommended!

From our arrival the hostess was very accommodating since we had our dog with us setting us up with a gorgeous view and a fan since it had been in the high 90’s today. Lori H was a fantastic server absolutely top knotch. The food was outstanding best peach cobbler I think I have ever had. Wow!

A great family experience with really great food. We ordered a variety of different dishes, and we were not disappointed. Service was quick and friendly; never had to ask for a drink refill, and they ensured we were well cared for. I noticed they work in teams, waitresses taking orders and bringing drinks, and others delivering the food. They were all very polite and courteous. We enjoyed eating on the lakeside deck but did not realize that the smoking area was at the bottom of the stairs. We’ll eat on the deck again, but we’ll ask to be farther away from the smoking area next time. The view of the lake is marvelous, especially around sunset. Definitely on our list of favorite places in this area!

Lorrie H took good care of us tonight! We made reservations that facilitated our seating on a very busy Saturday night! I definitely recommend reservations as this is a hidden gem with great food, great service and a great location overlooking Lake Marion! We had an interesting appetizer of gator tail. I especially enjoyed my mahi with lemon and garlic with broccoli and cole slaw as side dishes. My husband had flounder with broccoli and sweet potato fries. The southern praline pecan cake for dessert was local homemade and delicious! The signage to the lake house is improving which is really great because it is deserving of a loyal clientele! Great local folks working hard to make it a special place for us to visit! Keep up the good work!!
