Live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Great atmosphere with 7 beers on tap, including 2 IPA’s. Friendly staff, and it says open at 4. However, swing by any time after 3 and there’s a good chance it’s open. The Sunday special is a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings for $14.95.

We went to have their chicken and biscuits to benefit the SPCA. None of us have ever been there before and now we can’t wait to go back.
The food was spectacular, you could tell the food was homemade. Even my picky 8 year old ate her food.
The service was great and the atmosphere was homey.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a new place to eat or looking for homemade food made right.
P.S. We sampled the desserts, the apple crisp is the best I have had and I do recommend it with the ice cream

Appetizers and Fish fry was great! But the shaved steak was so dry it was horrible. The same shaved steak was used on 2 different meals at my table and was barely edible. Fries had weird flavor as well.

Great place to eat inside!! The atmosphere outside is not the greatest. LOTS of cobwebs on the string of lights, bird nests in the rafters, so birds are flying in and out, and the outside of the building off the outdoor seating is a bit rough looking. The inside is GREAT!! No complaints!!

Fish fries were excellent. Excellent, friendly, FAST service. Very clean inside, and live musical entertainment. While the “bigger is better” place is just around the corner, we prefer The Lake House now. If it’s 80F outside, you know you’re going to wait an hour for your food at the other place where the owner is too cheap to turn on the A/C, so come here instead.

Awesome food! We were a party of 7 and it was super busy. Sue was very accommodating and so nice. The foor was excellent. The kids ended up having room for dessert and they loved it! We will definitely be back!!

Visiting from Rochester, NY, and decided to grab dinner as we’re staying close by. Wings were cooked well, though could’ve used a bit more sauce and the haddock fish fry was perfect. Seating service was fast and the server was there for us at good intervals, and it was slightly slow but judging on the amount of people, an expected wait for food. Will be returning if I find myself in the area again.

We were excited to see they offered broiled along with fried fish. But walked away disappointed. The fish was ok, little overcooked.
The fries were burnt yet soggy, Mac and cheese had no flavor and again overcooked. Applesauce was served in the little snack containers that you buy in the store. Portions were large, but would have preferred more attention to the taste and presentation than the portion. Quality over quantity.
