Small yet mighty! Set in the corner of a book store in an old mill, this café serves delicious, eclectic food in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were there on a Sunday afternoon in Fall, and it was packed with people of all ages. The food and coffee were delicious. Come with a friend, or bring your laptop and just vibe.

I love this place, but it isn’t as good as it used to be. I’ve always loved the curry chicken sandwich and somehow it seemed more like there was ground chicken in there than actual chicken pieces. It’s still an amazing spot. So beautiful to look out the window. This was a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty loud in there, but I could still talk. The vegan friend I was with was very happy with her sandwich.

Found this place close by to a concert we were going to at Montague Retreat Center. Unfamiliar and in the middle of nowhere where, The Lady Killigrew Cafe was a blessing!

Timing was great as they close their kitchen at 8pm so we got there around 7:40 with just enough time to grab a bite. Cute and quaint, right near the flowing waters – I wish I got to see this place in the sunlight!

The tunes here are great, I was dancing immediately. The staff here is sweet and the space itself is so fascinating! Has a cute charm throughout all the way down to the bookshop.

I ordered the Number 1 sandwich. It was flavorful and just right to warm up my stomach. The salad was fresh and unique! Tasty stuff that had me perfectly satisfied.

To sit in the courtyard between Turn It Up Records and the Book Mill, eating their sandwich and salad, taking in the refreshingly pleasant if not jovial vibe of everyone around, was sublime. The iced tea was a bit too strong and I wish they had lemon, but oh well. Next time I’ll try the cold brew.

Had a good iced coffee on the deck over the streamriver. Lots of others enjoying the food. Walked the trail from the parking lot to the stream and watched tiny critters swarm-swimming in the stream. Bugs or tiny fish, hard to tell even in a foto, cool tho.

A gorgeous and unique spot for a sandwich and some books! We enjoyed the special bacon, cheddar and tomato sandwich with a great fresh salad. There are no espresso options but the regular brewed coffee was great. I felt it was a bit pricy for how simple the food is but the view of the river and atmosphere are awesome.

This unique cafe by the river side is one of my favorite, it is good for spending a quiet afternoon either alone or with a close friend. The setting makes you feel like you are hiding from the busy world and getting recharged. The window seats overlook the river and the water sound can be heard when windows are open. The wine and beer selections seems adequate, but I haven’t ordered one yet. The food choices on the menu are simple and they are good and consistent. However, I wish they can update the menu more often. It’s worth a try!

Great selection of food and drink. It’s the perfect Cafe for this location and I have only good things to say about the friendly service and the delicious food. It’s nice that they have a variety of options that aren’t just your typical cafe food.

If you’re in the mood to dine surrounded by more bugs than you’d find outdoors, this is your spot. Even on a 50-degree fall day, the inside was a stifling 83 degrees. The food was not just underwhelming after a painfully long wait—it actually tasted like they were using some kind of “fermented” flavor as a business tactic to cover up that the food might be a little bit on the rotten side. My fiancé’s meal was basically two sad slivers of kielbasa on flat bread, and my sandwich was a joke: a skinny slice of apple with gritty Dijon. Add to that zero handicap accessibility and snooty guests who wouldn’t move an inch, and you have a recipe for a one-star disaster. Definitely not recommended.
