True to our name Koyla, meaning “charcoal” or “fire” our culinary philosophy is rooted in the art of flame-cooked food. We use open fire techniques to enhance the natural flavours of our ingredients, bringing a smoky depth and warmth to every dish. I had such a lovely dining experience here. The ambiance felt intimate and refined, making it perfect for a relaxed evening out.
Started with the mix grill, which was perfectly charred on the outside and incredibly juicy inside. The sauces paired with it added just the right balance of smoky and tangy flavors. The crispy soft-shell crab in a creamy sauce was another highlight; crunchy, rich, and full of flavour. The sliced duck breast was beautifully cooked, tender, and complemented by a delicious reduction.
With naan bread, great presentation, and a cozy atmosphere, I truly enjoyed every part of the meal.
Cannot forget the dessert. I had masala ice cream and toasted milk ice cream. It was gone within minutes – it was such a unique taste. It was not too much or too less – just perfect.
Would definitely go again.
I’ve eaten in many other highly rated Indian/Nepalese places but this was the best. Service was excellent too. Don’t hesitate if you’re looking for a spicy delight.
We were recommended the crab as a starter, and it absolutely blew us away. It was unlike anything we’ve ever tasted, fresh, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. Every dish that followed was just as delicious, clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the overall price-quality ratio was excellent. We left with full bellies and big smiles. Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for authentic food and top-notch service!
from start to finish. The service & food was exceptional, with our tast buds being treated to so many, fresh, stunning flavours over our two courses. If I could give more than 5*, I would.
Will definitely be back.
If you like Nepalese food I don’t think you would find anywhere better in Kent.
( Sushant was brilliant treated us like royalty)
