The bolognese was rich and perfectly balanced, with deep, slow-cooked flavor and pasta cooked exactly right. Every bite felt thoughtful and well executed. The lemon drop was just as impressive — bright, fresh, and not overly sweet, with a clean citrus finish that made it hard not to order another.
The atmosphere strikes that ideal balance of relaxed and refined, and the service was attentive with a splash of “feels like home.” Everything was clearly itemized on our bill, and there were no surprises. It’s clear they care about quality and providing a complete dining experience beyond a great plate of food.
Large portions, delicious food, well-made cocktails, solid service, and a unique setting compelled us to tip handsomely. It was a great experience. If you are in St. Helens, this place is worth your time. I’ll absolutely be back. We left genuinely impressed!
My only complaint is that the fragrance in the bathroom was so strong it literally made my eyes sting. I suggest to management that they change the settings.
A couple friends drove me up from Portland, while I was in town and it did not disappoint!
Service was amazing from start to finish! Our actual server was absolutely adorable and made us feel like we were all buddies. Lots of fun quips and jokes and just a great overall attitude.
We got the butternut squash grilled cheese and it was so tasty! We got two because one friend wasn’t very hungry, but she wound up nibbling on both of ours and really enjoyed it.
Don’t sleep on the cocktails because everything we had was a bop, and even the one non-alcoholic toasted marshmallow lemonade was amazing!
If they have it, definitely get the razzle dazzle if you like something with a kick.
I would love to come back the next time I’m in town, if my friends are willing to go back to St Helens for the day.
The food was delicious, highly recommend the pork cheeks or the beef tenderloin.
The specialty cocktails are top notch. Can’t go wrong with any of them. We tried three different cocktails.
We had just a great time we came back for Halloween Town! A magical and haunting experience. This place is haunted, ask the staff about the haunting!
So honestly, they had me locked in with a choice and favorite beer on tap, Old Rasputin Russian Stout, on Nitro!
I looked at the appetizers and almost ordered, but then I saw the dessert and dessert cocktail menu. Nope, I was saving room. I had the Short Ribs served over Lemon, Pea Rissoto. The Rissoto was cooked to perfection, just the right amount of everything, the perfect toothiness, just a hint of lemon, but the Short Ribs were pure bliss, fork tender, full of flavor, if I had room I would have ordered another plate!
For dessert, I choose the Milk Dud Old Fashioned, feeling like an affectionado of Old Fashionds (I usually go extra extra bitter, no a little more bitters, please) this was perfect and a not so sweet treat!
Out of 10, they get a solid 20!
