Our waitress was great, super friendly and bubbly. The food was fine, I don’t feel like it met the quality I would normally expect for $25+ plates of bbq. The brisket was not tender and was a bit dry and the onion rings were definitely overcooked and hard. The vibe was just quiet and there were about two other tables there the whole time we were there. One couple came in, waited for a few moments without being noticed by the waitress, and left without ever being helped.

Maybe they’re great and the chef was just having an off day but I probably won’t be back.

DoorDashed from The Kitchen Table ( formerly Porkbelly’s, still called that on DD) for the fam this morning. I ordered the carne asada omelet, and my husband got the bisquits and gravy.

In what world is this an omelet? It didn’t come with cheese, cilantro, red sauce, or the included hash browns. I made a breakfast burrito with cheese and a tortilla from my fridge to make this more than scrambled eggs and pieces of meat on a plate. My husband’s biscuits were so hard, it broke the plastic fork.

The carne asada had great flavor, and the gravy was decent. I’ve had good food from them before, but man, I am not a satisfied customer today.

I recently ate an omelet here and it came out looking like a scramble. The eggs were overcooked, the tri tip was dry, and all around bland. Half way through my meal, I found a small rock that almost chipped my tooth which I’m assuming came from an unwashed mushroom in my omelet… I mean scramble. I was a cook here for a while during it’s tenure as PorkBelly’s so I’d have to say the quality has got down a tad. Not all negative though- the coffee was delicious and piping hot which I appreciated and the server was polite and friendly.

We stopped in Tuesday Oct 21st at about 530 pm. Seated after about 15 minutes which we did not consider too long. The waiter brought our drinks and took our order in a reasonable amount of time. The restaurant was half or less full. We ordered a brisket sandwich with tots and a cup of chicken rice soup with bread. After waiting over 30 minutes we told the waiter we had to go as we had play tickets and could we just pay for our drinks. He said our food was just about done and he would pack it up for us. We paid our $40 bill including tip…went to our car to eat. The “chicken rice soup” was not soup at all see picture and no bread to be seen. There was no broth and it was cold. The sandwich was room temp as we’re the tots. We did not have time to go back. So instead the “soup” was thrown out. The sandwich and tots were eaten by my hubby. Such a disappointment. Never again!! Do not waste your time or money there are far too many good places in St George

We stopped for a late lunch on our way home from AZ. We happened to stop on a Monday, so were pleasantly surprised that kids easy free. We actually ended up sharing our meal, so only 1 of our 2 kids got a free meal, but we were perfectly happy with that. We paid–with a $9+ tip–a little under $50 for 4 people. That runs about the same as most places on this trip, no matter which meal. So it’s a bit more than most if a kid didn’t eat free and/or both adults got separate meals.

The food was SO GOOD! We got the Pork Master sandwich (aioli on the side because I’m iffy with mustard) with funeral potatoes, and an added cup of chili. I ended up alternating bites with and without the aioli because it was good but the meat was flavorful without too. Plenty of meat meant we were both very satisfied with our half of the meal. I only had a bite of chili, which had a good flavor. The funeral potatoes were peppery, and I went back and forth about them. My husband said they were good with that aioli so I tried and had to agree. The kids got a cheese quesadilla and mac n cheese, both with fries. I had a bite of the quesadilla and fries, which were average good to me. The mac n cheese looked pretty good, but I didn’t taste it. My son did eat it though. The ONLY thing I really didn’t like was the iced tea. It was a milky color and had a bitter taste I didn’t care for (but is not uncommon), but was switched out for me cheerfully. Service was unfailingly cheerful, and the type that will bring people back. We also loved the games at the tables! We love to play games at restaurants, so it fit our family perfectly! (If you guys don’t have it, I recommend Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza. It’s hilarious in a restaurant!)

Overall a decent experience for a Sunday brunch. Not great not horrible, seated squarely in the middle. Pricing was a bit shocking when the bill came, but we’ve all been there.

Everything came fresh and fairly timely. 10/10 recommend their banana bread French toast.

Caution cash vs non cash price. Receipt included for proof, did not see listed on menu nor informed by staff.

A cute hole in the wall with a menu that may be a bit too diverse. A few excellent quality items with the rest skirting below the radar.

Ordered a full stack of pancakes with 2 eggs over medium and bacon with a side order of extra bacon extra crispy. Along with a side order of the banana bread French toast with coffee.

Pancakes were crispy and fluffy with an undefined aftertaste that will leave you guessing. But don’t worry the other menu items have it too. Full stack is 3 good sized pancakes, and very filling.

The bacon was floppy and tasted slightly of bacon but mainly of whatever is used to grease the cook top. Including the side order there were 4 strips of said floppy pork. As the menu doesnt list side/a la carte pricing I was taken aback when the 2 additional pieces of bacon cost $3.99.

The Banana Bread French Toast was delicious, good texture, and flavor. A distinct and unique take on a classic and very much the highlight of the meal. 10/10 would return for that.

Coffee was good with options for creamer and attentive refills(remember to get them to get your plate value)

Good service, very friendly staff with lots of hustle.

Pricing leaves you confused, but you’ll be full. After tip for 2 people $66.59, far from the most expensive brunch not the best value either.

Overall rating: C

Worth trying and probably reliable, not rushing to return.

I ordered the blackberry bourbon burger. I rated the food a one because there is no zero rating. The blackberry bourbon jam was almost non existent. There was no bacon and the romaine lettuce was only the amount of a teaspoon. The only flavor was the bleu cheese. I had to dip it in ketchup because it was so dry and the meat was such low quality. At $16.89, I expected a higher quality burger. If I hadn’t ordered it to go, I would have taken it back. This was my first and last visit. I very much regret not taking a picture of it.

I went here thinking this was Pot Belly Eatery since it was reviewed so highly to just be super disappointed with the new restaurant. I paid over $60 for horrible food. First off, I ordered the pulled pork plate that was supposed to come with a garlic bread which they were out so it was substituted with a dinner roll. The dinner roll was just pathetic. Imagine a Hawaiian roll but cut in half….I tried to order the funeral potatoes but lo and behold…they were out and it would take another 20 minutes for it to be ready. The Coca Cola tasted like old root beer which was disgusting. My husband ordered the half rack of ribs which were chewy and hard. His fries weren’t done so we had to wait on those and when they did come out they were undercooked. The staff was friendly but nothing can salvage what a terrible experience. Also….really pay attention to the check because some of the math wasn’t making sense. Just avoid this restaurant at all costs.

Had a great experience. Was greeted and seated immediately upon entering. The staff was friendly and efficient, thank you Keely! And the food was delicious. We had the Island tacos and Stacked pulled pork sandwich. Will definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Oh, and don’t skip the peach cobbler it’s the best!

We were really disappointed with our experience at The Kitchen Table. The restaurant was severely understaffed, and we ended up waiting over an hour for our food after being seated. When my steak (ordered medium) finally came out, it was practically raw — so undercooked that I couldn’t even cut through it. I had to send it back immediately. The country potatoes were just as bad, many of them still raw in the middle. My wife ordered the tri tip Benedict, and it was awful. Honestly, the only thing remotely decent were the hash browns, simply because they were actually cooked. For the price and the wait, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in a long time.
