This is a gem you do not want to judge by the cover. Although attached to an autoshop building, this little diner offers some of the best made from scratch food I have ever tasted. I ordered the wing dinner with fried potatoes and pasta salad as my 2 sides. The pasta salad may be the best I ever had, and potatoes were super fresh and full of flavor. The bone in wings were good, and the made from scratch buffalo mild sauce was very good. Highly recommend! I will be back as those pies were looking really good, just not my idea match after Buffalo wings.

If you can get past the initial smell of the service station. That is connected to this small little restaurant then you’ll be okay but there are no Booth settings it’s very small there is a countertop seating. The food was okay average you can tell that it wasn’t homemade that the biscuits and gravy were not homemade they seem to be out of a canned gravy and my eggs were great they weren’t over medium but they were great they only have white and wheat toast and English muffin cuz I had breakfast it was suggested to me by my son and daughter-in-law a couple years back so it happened to be in the area to try it. So I tried it it was okay.

Thanks to a solid recommendation, thanks Matt, I found the Kitchen Table in Huntertown today.
This one is called the kitchen skillet. It has sausage, ham, bacon, egg, sausage gravy fried potatoes and toast. It’s very meaty and just the right size to be full but not feel bloated.
The orders came out pretty quick and it looked like everything was very hot and fresh.
It’s in kind of an interesting spot, as it shares a building with a car repair shop. The inside only has a few tables and a counter like any proper diner should have. Something else to notice, is that it seems they must have some regulars with their own coffee cups. That’s when you know you’re in a good spot.
I’ll have to come back again and try some of their non breakfast items.

Hmm, such basic food that I would never serve to people looking to dine out. It’s what I would call a last resort option for food. Maybe only if you live next door, nothing to go out of your way for. Even then…. I really don’t get the positive reviews, they served me hot dogs for breakfast. Hot dogs. No real taste just basic blah. Service was good. The price was way too high for the food I got. Overall not recommended.

Great mom and pop style dinner. Nothing fancy, but that’s exactly what makes it charming. Service was extremely friendly and attentive. Food was great, and reminded me of meals my grandmothers would make when I was younger.

My new favorite breakfast place!! I love this place the atmosphere is nostalgic! The staff is so kind and just the right amount of attentive! So I’m pretty picky when it comes to biscuits and gravy and it blew my socks off had just the right amount of seasoning! It’s a hidden gem just a little north of Ft. Wayne!! Reasonable prices, and clean! They also have homemade pies/desserts to die for! Also little fact the wife runs the restaurant and her hubby runs a honest car repair place just next door!
