BR “WhoWhereWhy” S
Just traveling thru and stopped for a late dinner. Excellent southern cooking. Huge salad- loved the candied bacon with Gorgonzola! Husband loved the gumbo. The smoked meatloaf is very good. Enjoyed the local beers on tap. It was a lovely evening to sit outside on their deck! Wonderful , attentive service by Tonya!!

Im not a picky person, but $240 for 6 people is kinda ridiculous for the food we got.
Eggs were overcooked, ok flavor. Spinach dip was flavorless, like Sysco probably dropped it off and they thawed it out.
Im the guy who gets a burger every where I go because a burger will tell you a lot about a place. Mine was a charcoal briquette, probably premade, frys where good.
Shrimp and grits, shrimp over cooked and dry. The fried grit patty was good though. The broccoli was good too. The big chop was a dried out piece of pork, Mac and cheese was a nope also. The chicken fingers were ok and the mashed potatoes were also ok. The smoked meatloaf had good flavor, but the price was kinda ridiculous for 2 little pieces of meat. The catfish was meh, you can absolutely go to JT’s and get better catfish and more of it for $6 less. The best part of the place was the playlist of music. I don’t know who hyped the reviews up, but this is not it.

Outstanding food and southern charm at The Kitchen Table in Arlington, TN!
I stopped in recently and was blown away. The chicken sliders were absolutely perfect—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Then came the crawfish Benedict, and wow… that dish alone is worth the trip! You can tell every plate is made with care and fresh ingredients. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the whole experience had that genuine Southern comfort vibe.
If you’re anywhere near Arlington, do yourself a favor and stop by The Kitchen Table—you’ll be glad you did!

I loved the building and decor. We ordered the Gumbo, TKT burger and the gumbo soup. The gumbo i was told is not traditiinal. I appriciated being told although i would have never known. I ordered it based on other reviews. I liked it a lot it was good with lots of flavor. No big pieced of anything though. So really far from any traditional gumbo. The crawfish lasagna was similar to a lobster lasagna with a lot of cheese. Burger was done right we like ours med rare. Happy they were able to make it as ordered. We ordered a bottle of wine, glasses had lipstick on them. My husband cleaned it off as he always does. Not the end of the world. The shoe string fries seemed double dipped and cold. This restraunt just needs some refining for their price range. The waitor should pour the wine for tasting and ensurs glasses are clean. I wished i could give 5 stars. They do have outdoor seating which i look forward to sitting when i try again. I have my eye on the porkchop.

Gumbo far better than most I’ve ever had. A Thick roux and spicy but not overwhelmingly so. Matched with some burger sliders it was a great lunch. My partner got the catfish sliders with a salad. All perfect lunch proportions that would leave room for dessert. Great service by our waitress, never let my glass of tea go empty. Enjoy.

The music was I think The Cure (cannot remember) walking in, it was really chill and east, setting the stage for a quality experience. The hostess was was welcoming, our server Miss Rachel was great. Informative, gave us time to review the menu (first time here), answered questions and the kitchen about certain ingredients. The Iced tea was fresh tasting, served in a huge mason jar. The booze selection was fine, something for everyone. The Caesar salad was good, homemade dressing with excellent croutons! Not greasy or anything. She liked the burger a lot and the chicken and waffles were bangin. We were leaving from Memphis headed back to Connecticut. We said we wish they were up here. Great spot. Told the friends that are local about it and they need to go. Anytime we head back to Memphis, this is a must stop place.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel staff. We had a cup of gumbo as an appetizer. It was a bit spicy, but delicious. The salmon was cooked to my liking. It came with a pasta salad and peach salsa. My husband had the pork chop. It was smoked and flavorful.

I frequent TKT a lot. I’ve had countless items from their menu but this was my first and last time having brunch there. We got the beignets and upon eating it. The texture was extremely chewy and doughy. We alerted our server and were met with a condescending tone. We were asked if we’ve had a beignet before. Regardless I decided to cut into the beignet and revealed what caused the chewy texture. I rarely write reviews but this experience was one that left a bad taste in my mouth. I am all for supporting locally owned businesses but not when I was spoken to like that.

We went to dinner for my wife’s birthday and the food and service was great. We had a lot of different dishes. All were good and freshly prepared. Kids really enjoyed the macaroni and cheese. I had the bone in pork chop. We will be back soon.

We had a really good meal here and would definitely return. I ordered the pork belly and cheese plate as well as the deviled eggs. The piece of bacon on top of the eggs was amazing and I could eat that by itself. The pork belly was also very good but a little dry. My ribeye was a very good piece of meat not your typical restaurant steak. My wife had the meat loaf and said it was good but the macaroni and cheese was both of our favorite.
