I was between a late lunch and early dinner and reviews looked good. I was given the dinner menu and I wanted to order light. Their tomato bisque with the fried polenta crouton was my starter and I would rank it as one of the best ever. The polenta was crispy on the outside and paired so well, perfect. I went for a side portion of risotto with asparagus. Risotto was perfectly cooked and the bite size pieces of asparagus were delicious as well. Dessert was a bit disappointing but I found out it was not made in house and since baking is what I do, I am a bit critical. I must also mention my friendly and attentive servers, Natalie & Essence. That topped it off for a very pleasant experience.

I stopped in after an afternoon of skiing at laurel mountain. The atmosphere is great and the reputation is quite good. I ordered the gnocchi and a side of Brussels sprouts. The side was excellent and the gnocchi was quite good. Big shout out to Natalie who was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and provided fantastic service.

This restaurant exceeded all expectations. We sat at the chefs counter and it was an amazing experience. It was great to see that chefs: Becca and Teri are truly cooking all the food as it is ordered. It is all fresh and cooked to perfection. It is all delicious. It comes out quickly and worth the price. Our server Essence gave excellent recommendations and was on point with all of them. She was friendly and helpful. We will be back every time we are in the area!

We had a great dinner here last weekend! The staff and servers were fantastic!!! The food was all delivered in a timely fashion to our large group and the food was all delicious. We ordered drinks from the bar and we had teenagers with us and they had appetizers and dinner and everyone was very pleased. This was the first time we had ever been at this establishment and we will return. The menu is quite extensive and it is a very nice place to dine. I would highly recommend it and we will definitely return. Sorry, I didn’t take any photos.

First time visit. Lunch with another couple, their suggestion. Very attentive wait staff. Café style atmosphere. Food was exceptional. We tried a portion of everyone’s meal and it was to difficult to pick the best. Enjoyed every moment. Definitely going back.

Everything here is absolutely fabulous! Our waitress Natalie was lovely, and she was super attentive while also giving us plenty of time to look over the menu and enjoy our girls day. The Mediterranean pasta was out of this world- the flavors were phenomenal and you got a huge portion for a great price. I loved the two drinks I had- the spicy martini and the cotton candy cosmo. I also had the lemon cake for dessert which was absolutely fantastic as well. I’m so happy my friend suggested we come here, everything exceeded my expectations and was well worth the 40 minute drive. See you again soon!

I don’t know what it is about this place. We are new to the area. The Kitchen was highly recommended by locals. We had breakfast there on our first visit. It was the worst breakfast ever; burnt biscuits, house potatoes were crunchy, eggs were rubbery and cold. Everything was saturated in grease. We ate very little of it and paid a pretty penny to do so.
Figuring we must have just hit them on an off day, we tried lunching there our second time. We both ordered the salmon burgers. The salmon was delicious until we got halfway through the burger and realized the other half was a gelatinous cold mess. The sweet potato fries were barely warm and were soggy. Ugh! We’ve not had good experiences food-wise. Service was great, ambiance is nice too. But we were there to eat, if the food isn’t good, the rest doesn’t make up for it.

Showed up at 7:11 pm on 2/11. Staying in town for an early Valentine’s Day getaway with my wife and we were excited to dine here. Looked for local places to dine and saw they were open until 8 pm. Figured we’d be fine but when we walked in we were told “sorry, we’re actually not seating anymore tonight. Yeah, sorry.”
Really screwed up my plans for Valentine’s Day with my wife. If you’re thinking of dining here I’d suggest going elsewhere.

Food was excellent – best biscuits and gravy found anywhere and cheddar/scallion biscuits are unique and tasty. HIGHLIGHT of visit was server, Sarah! Sarah was friendly, funny, and attentive. Very engaging personality while meeting every need (hot coffee, plenty of water refills, timely check delivery). We don’t typically request a specific server when dining but will definitely ask for Sarah (and return to enjoy interaction with her)!
