I had a great experience here- not sure what happened with other customers in the recent reviews. We came for lunch on a Saturday a few weeks back. The food was good, drinks were fairly strong and our servers were friendly. Random place for a Mexican restaurant but I will be back.

The food and the live music shows are good. The only turn off, for me, is the service, a little bit.
The first time I went to eat there, the service was almost perfect; very attentive, very courteous.
By my fourth time I went there, they had changed managers and waiters / busboys.
They weren’t very attentive, and the barmaid, who I understand is the daughter of the owner, probably wasn’t having a good day, because I perceived her a little rude.
I might give them one more chance in the near future, and if they mess it up, I won’t come back
And for the sake of the business’ well being, they better come up with a solution.

I had tacos de birria which are trending all around and to my surprise these were amazing! The tortilla was slightly crunchy and the meat super tender, a nice little touch of cheese really went a long way on the taco. Dipping it in the consome (sauce) was the perfect Instagram boomerang lol I also had chillaquiles verdes (green) the tortilla were slightly crunchy and soft, the sauce a little spicy and eggs were perfectly cooked. Perfect hangover food I might add. Overall really good place to have some real authentic Mexican food. This coming from a Mexican person.
