Social Profile:

The Kiln: Community & family focused taproom, bringing beer, wine and crafty food options to the Yakima Valley. Located in the heart of west Yakima, the idea was thought up by a father-son duo who had a taste for good beer and wine, but wanted it a little bit closer to home. The collective ownership group was born & raised in the valley with strong ties to local agriculture. 30 taps of premium Pacific Northwest beer and wine. You can watch the game while the little ones enjoy the kid’s corner inside. Relax by the indoor/outdoor fireplace during cold Yakima winters, or head outside to the 1/2 acre yard which has a unique #beerberm. Artisan style pizza and unique small bites, there is something here for everyone to enjoy!

Love this place. My family and I go here a few times a month, never a disappointment. They have a grata selection of beers on tap and great food. Just had their cheese zombie yesterday. It was the best I’ve ever had. A must try. They only sell those on Wednesdays.

Just kind of average or slightly below. Better options in town. Food isn’t really special or interesting. Pizza isn’t very good. Only a few cider options. Parking is a joke. I don’t really get get why people host events here. You wind up parking at the church and walking over. Been here twice and not by choice. About the same experience each time. Would prefer almost every other place in town.

Great experience. Service excellent, atmosphere, we perfect, we sat outside, we were able to choose a table, it’s wasn’t to busy or too loud. We were able to choose safe gluten free options. Server was very knowledgeable of what had gluten verses what didn’t have gluten. Great experience!

Great mix between bar/pub and family restaurant. Indoor, outdoor, and patio seating. Grass covered area for kids and dogs. Several big screen tvs. We ate one of the specialty Pizzas and were very impressed- absolutely delicious. Large variety of on tap beverages. Also a selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Very friendly staff. Prices reflect the quality of environment and food- its not cheaply priced, but cost is relative to taste and quality. Can’t wait to return.

Pizza was pretty good, it reminded me of Costco pizza (greasy, salty). Wings were baked and soft, I would’ve preferred them fried and crispy. I wasn’t a fan of them. I got a kids chicken strip for my kiddo and the chicken were burnt and hard like they just threw them in the oven too long. He only ate one or two pieces that weren’t so burnt. They should offer fries as a side but I’m assuming they don’t because they don’t have a fryer. If I go again I’ll try something different to eat.

This place was really nice and the beer collection was really nice. We tried their spicy wings with buffalo sauce with ghost pepper and they were amazing. I highly recommend those. Very nice ambiance and friendly staff.

First time visitor and I am super excited about this discovery. Only had time for a beer but it was delicious, fresh, and crisp. I only viewed the food and it looked amazing! Extremely kid friendly but still keeps it’s adult status. Really neat mix of everything all under one roof. Sat outdoors and soaked up the warm sun rays. I definitely recommend this place for any informal get together!

Good food and drinks. They have a kids corner which is cool. But I was a little upset that someone had to tell us our daughter was being too loud in the kids corner. We were having to talk pretty loud just to have a conversation above the rest of the tables in the room. Honestly couldn’t even hear the kids lol. So yeah a nice place to go out with friends but not too tolerant of kids making noise. Will definitely go back but not a family place if you have toddlers.

Ok I get it. Last call is 830 and Closing is 9pm on Thurs. When you have a Mariners baseball game on and they just made a spectacular comeback you don’t turn the TV sets off with 3 outs remaining in the bottom of the ninth inning. You had a group of adults watching the game!!! You don’t turn the TV sets off!!! If you are showing local sports behave like local fans!!!! Lost a customer…

Good food is delivered to the tables after ordering at the counter. Friendly staff. Outdoor area. Many beers on tap and some non alcoholic drinks. Fresh baked (not fried?) chicken strips. The best I’ve ever had.
