If you come here, don’t get any of the pasta dishes. They appear to be made ahead of time, and whoever is preparing them seems to be hoping that the cooking process will complete the effort to cook the garlic and the sauce that’s in the dish. If you come here, go for one of the broils. Everyone seems to love that!
I was craving seafood Alfredo, so I decided to check this place out. It seem to have good reviews and it’s around the corner from my work.
Order the seafood Alfredo. My first warning should have been when the waiter asked me if I wanted shrimp only or all the seafood. I asked if there was any way to get it with everything except the shrimp, and he said then, “I’m sorry, I think it’s pre-made so I don’t think we can actually do that.” When he said pre-made, I figured he meant that the portions were prepared but that they would be mostly cooked upon order. So I decided to go for all this seafood.
It comes out in this little plastic bowl. $21 for the portion wasn’t particularly worth it. The garlic in the sauce was still practically raw, and the sauce itself was like soup because it hadn’t been cooked enough to render it down to a creamier texture.
The service was great. The atmosphere is cheesy, but as part of the appeal. I’m not saying I’ll never go back here again, but I’m never going to buy a pasta dish from this place again. Eating raw garlic in a Alfredo-soupie pasta was a real let down.

We liked this place. The prices and food portions were fair and good.
It’s not as flavorful like you make it at home, but it was pretty good.
The servers were really attentive and very helpful.
BUT…Who came up with the “pinch” of salt/pepper in each plastic cup!? You probably should rethink the plastic waste! Salt/pepper shaker on each table is probably a better idea!

As a former manager of kickin crab I can say Do not eat at here… Seriously . Ordered a pound of shrimp and was practically dry. Called and made it clear. They said “nothing we can do about it” asked for a manager and said there wasn’t one one site. Yea unbelievable terrible costumer service

Excellent food. However the customer service isn’t so great.I received my bill while eating meanwhile other groups had been there before me still eating & didn’t have a bill. When I confronted about 3 different workers they all had an excuse. Not sure if it’s because I’m African or what but that definitely isn’t right at all & I can’t run anywhere 9 months pregnant. Food is really good though. Do with that what you will with that information lol.

I ordered online and called before hand to verify i was able to buy 4 extra sauces. The person who answered the phone said yes, that should be fine.
In person , I picked up my order and was told I could only order 1 sauce. Bait and switch. I asked why I was told differently t over the phone. They said “I don’t know”

Definitely doesn’t taste the same as when they first opened but it will do for quick boil!
Never had a problem until recently, I always order and I am charge EXTRA for the easy peel but they gave me mixed with head on shrimp! I called, spoke to the supervisor Juan to let him know but since I am not from the area and could not come in the same or next day they couldn’t compensate! Very disappointing, check your TOGO ORDERS!

I’m back at it here at the Kicking Crab in Long Beach. The service was wonderful. Yes, they were short staffed, but our waiter, Jennifer, was so attentive and accommodating. As always, I ordered the regular kicking style spicy , and the food lived up to my expectations couldn’t go wrong.

MyLove and I went here for the first time since it’s been open. The food is very flavorsome, great awesome service, very welcoming, waiter always checked in to see if we wanted anything else, clean, spacious, organized, friendly and we didn’t wait long for our meal.
