The food was okay but nothing memorable. The seafood itself was decent, but the gravy was quite watery and lacked the rich flavor you would normally expect from a seafood boil.
In general, the visit was a bit disappointing. With better service and more attention to orders, the experience could definitely be improved.
I am writing to express my formal complaint regarding my recent DoorDash order.
When my food arrived, the packaging was completely open and exposed. The delivery bag was neither taped nor stapled closed, and the fish and fries were sitting on top, fully uncovered. Additionally, the seafood boil bag was not sealed. This is highly unsanitary and unacceptable.
When I contacted the restaurant to address this, the supervisor on duty was not helpful and stated that this is their standard practice. I have already provided photos of the order to DoorDash as evidence.
Please improve your food safety protocols and packaging for delivery orders. I expect a much higher standard of customer service and food handling.
Don’t bother with this place!!!
Prices are very high for what you get. I don’t know that the kitchen quite knows how to make everything on the menu. My kiddo got the shrimp and crab boil. He enjoyed it fine. My husband got the shrimp platter which seemed very oily. I got the seafood scampi. When I saw my food I was very confused. It is the only picture I have. I had a hard time finding my food in the bowl of sauce. By far the worst seafood place I have every been to. Our server Larry was very nice. That is about the only good thing i can say. That boy was working very hard. They seemed very short staffed. Everything they use is throw away. Plates, cups, utensils. The boils are given to you in a bag and you have to eat from the bag. They don’t give you anything to pour you food on. You do get a trash bucket. Eating from the bag not the easiest thing. They don’t give you anything to help brake the crab legs.
Just save your time and money. Don’t go here.
Our second appetizer was the fried shrimp and fry basket. This was the least impressive dish of the night. A nice seasoning on the fries along with a decent cook. However, most of the shrimp–while gorgeous to look at–were over cooked, therefore dry and chewy.
Switching to mains, my husband went with the soft shell crab tacos. A well-executed fried crab sits on a bed of pico in a (cold) corn tortilla, and is topped with sauces. An awesome fusion dish!
I got the $33.99 boil special: 1/2 lb shrimp, 1/2 pound snow crab, 1 corn, 1 red tater, and 2 slices of sausage. I’m a spice wuss, so opted for the basic garlic butter. It was all fantastic, especially the crab… which was fresh and cooked so well that I left NO meat behind in those bad boys, lol.
Great food. Great, friendly service. A bit of a loud, but relaxed, atmosphere.
We WILL be back… I have to try the clam chowder!
We ordered the 1/2 pound of snow crab and 1/2 pound of shrimp with the Kickin’ Crab sauce at medium spice, and wow so flavorful and delicious. The seasoning hit just right!
The atmosphere was relaxed and clean. We came on a Sunday evening and were pleasantly surprised there was no wait. It wasn’t packed, but definitely had a good crowd and energy.
Excited to come back and try more!
The staff was friendly and attentive—they did a good job making sure we were taken care of. They don’t provide physical menus, so you’ll need to scan a QR code to view the menu on your phone before placing your order.
Pro tip: go for the all special sauce on your seafood boil—seriously, thank me later. Just be aware that their spice level runs high, so I’d recommend ordering one notch lower than you think you can handle.
They also serve beer, which pairs well with the seafood. The garlic noodles were really good and definitely worth trying. Our seafood boil came with plenty of sauce—almost too much to use in one meal. I actually felt bad throwing it out! Next time, I’d probably pack the leftover sauce to-go and mix it with my own seafood at home.
Overall, a fun spot for messy, flavorful seafood with good service and a lively atmosphere.
