Key STL hands down has one of the best burgers and fries in the city. The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy, and full of flavor from the first bite to the last. You can tell quality ingredients are being used, and everything tastes fresh and intentional. The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned just right—easily good enough to stand on their own. The presentation looked great, making it perfect for photos, and the food matched the hype once it hit the table. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers on taste, quality, and consistency, Key STL is absolutely worth pulling up to.

If I could give zero stars, I would I have gave this place two Tries to get what I order correct this is their queso and chili cheese fries with white onions on top terrible no flavor barely any cheese service was exquisitely fast. They’re rockin’ counter service, but don’t let that fool you — these guys run the kitchen like pros. The crew behind the counter were friendly, fast, and on point. I went classic with a burger and fries, and they cooked it up fresh to order.
Now, I didn’t even make it to the photo before taking a bite — that’s how good it looked. Juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked. The house-cut fries? Golden, crispy, and seriously addictive. Then they hit me with a recommendation — try their homemade Key Sauce. Game changer. Creamy, tangy, a little bit sweet — the kind of sauce that makes you wanna dunk everything in it.
I grabbed a seat at the bar, and Alec the bartender took great care of me. Super chill guy — filled me in on the story behind the place and even gave me a peek at their music hall next door. That space? Absolutely awesome. Great setup, killer vibe, and you can tell it’s gonna be a hot spot for live shows.
Bottom line — The Key STL is the real deal. Fresh food, friendly faces, and a slick setup. St. Louis just leveled up with this one. I’ll be back soon to unlock a few more flavors at The Key.

Wow! So this place is new and we decided to try it after seeing great reviews.
It did not disappoint. The food is fresh and the flavor is great. The portions were nice and the locally sourced ingredients is a nice touch. There’s also a great selection of adult beverages!
Miller, the kitchen manager, took a lot of time to talk to us and make us feel welcomed. This place is a hidden gem in a cool historical building!

We enjoyed the food. This is not a quick in and out. You order your food at the window it was pretty busy when we went, we waited about 40ish minutes for our food. The fries were amazing, sauces and the burgers were great.
