The old geezers of the Old Guys Pub Crawl love this place. It was our first time here. The food was exciting and very good. The server was excellent. They served beer. We like beer. We drink beer. Beer makes us happy. New old guy, Mr. B, joined us. Unfortunately for you all, good looking Paul is traveling and not in the photo. We love this place. We hope to have three old dudes from Grant County join us soon. They’re our groupies. Speaking of groupies, say “hey” to Maybel who is over 100 years old.

Our first time in and could not be better. We split a bowl of clam chowder and it was fantastic. Followed with shrimp and Alaskan whitefish which was perfect. The Okra and the hush puppies are definitely recommended. Our waittress, Daisy was great and a manager walked around to check on the tables. We will be back.

We decided to try this place based on a friend’s recommendation, but honestly, I left disappointed considering how much I spent. We ordered two large servings of raw oysters, and not a single one was properly shucked. On top of that, the oysters themselves were very small, much smaller than expected for the price. We had to use our forks to separate the meat from the shells, which I’ve never had to do at other restaurants.
The snow crab and peel-and-eat shrimp were served in a bucket with sauce. Unfortunately, the crab had almost no seasoning, and the shrimp tasted like they were simply dunked in sauce. Maybe that’s just me being particular, but it felt underwhelming.
The highlight of the meal was the limited special garlic chicken wings, they were by far the best thing we ordered. That said, our waitress was very polite and attentive, even though she clearly had a heavy load of tables to manage.

I found a seat at the bar near the outdoor side! The reno is very nice, although the acoustics are rough! Things can be addressed as we’ve seen at Carson’s!
I ordered the Parmesan trout that the bar tender recommended as she loves trout! The trout was cooked fine, but there wasn’t any Parmesan on it or anywhere on the plate! The seasoning had a peculiar flavor and the oranges weren’t a match for the fish, but the cornbread salad and okra were spot on! I ordered the key lime pie and it did not disappoint! My meal with a coke, dinner and dessert was $47, including tip. The bartender was attentive.
The owners are still working things out, I give them credit for the transformation—it’s grand! The chef may need some Gordon Ramsey guidance, but I want them to succeed and I’ll keep going back! It’s in my neighborhood and I always want the locals to have a success story!

Me and my husband came here last Saturday for dinner. And it was delicious and we enjoyed it. The oysters were the highlight of our night. Best seafood place in Lexington!!

We wanted to go to The Ketch for NYE, but didn’t realize their reservations would fill so fast. We called and they were able to fit us in right away due to a cancellation. The service was excellent and we appreciated them accommodating us! They had so many fun NYE specials. My fiance got the surf and turf special with an NY strip and lobster tail, and I got the fish and chips. Both were incredible! We truly loved the atmosphere, food, and service. We will be back!
