The Bagel making class was so fun. We learned so much about sourdough and making bagels for our family or for a small farm stand. Lori and Tom were great host and we felt like family. I highly recommend taking a class or just stopping by for coffee and a very yummy pastry.

I recently attended the Intro to Sourdough class and I cannot say enough great things about the experience. Lori was knowledgeable and answered all the questions while providing detailed training on sourdough. It felt like being in a home kitchen with an expert!!

My wife and I attended the intro to Sourdough class. It was absolutely fantastic. Lorrie is an excellent baker and even better teacher. I have a very short attention span and she kept me engaged for 4 1/2 hours. The bread we made was delicious. I highly recommend her classes!

I love croissants ever since a trip to Paris. But the best croissants I’ve ever experienced are in this delightful little cafe. The almond croissants in most places are overcooked. Not here. These were a heavenly balance of crisp flaky exterior and buttery, just enough sweet interior. Problem is I can’t resist another. Their scones are really good too though, so sometimes I’ll have one of those paired with the almond croissant. The scones have a wonderful tender crumb yet are made with a whole grain flour that they grind in house. I’m not in the area often, but when I am, this is where I have breakfast every morning.

Took an Intro to Pasta class with my husband. We had a great time and learned so much! Lori and Tom are very nice and knowledgeable and they made the experience easy and fun. We’ve been inspired to make pasta twice since taking the class two weeks ago. We definitely want to take more classes!

I took the Intro to Sourdough bread making class and it was excellent. Lori did a fantastic job organizing and breaking down a complex and multi-part process that typically takes multiple days into 3.5 hours. We learned so much, had fun, tasted delicious bread, and got to take home 3 loaves per person! One baked and ready to eat, two that we baked the next day. This class is a time investment, but absolutely worth it. Really well done!

Lori and Tom are absolutely incredible people and chefs! We attended the pretzel and beer cheese class, and they made it so fun and practical. Such a fun date night, and we can’t wait to go back for more 🙂 They also provide printed instructions at the end, so you don’t have to worry about taking notes during the class. Their food is amazing (have had at farmers markets before as well), and their style of teaching is relaxed and fun!

I recently attended a sourdough class and Lori was a fantastic teacher. She made the time fly by with great facts, hands-on learning and fresh baked snacks. I never once felt bored or caught myself watching the clock, except when I was waiting for my bread to come out of the oven. I bought my 12-year-old, who loves baking cakes, cookies, and biscuits, and she had a absolute blast. We both walked away with arms full of bread and treats, inspired and excited to bake more at home.

My mom and I took the pasta cooking class at Millstone recently and had the most amazing experience. Lori and Tom are not only knowledgeable, but so friendly and welcoming!! Lori even went out of her way to give me tips on how to make sourdough and we weren’t even there for that class!! Our food was delicious and I have been telling everyone I know to check out Millstone after this experience. We will certainly be back!!

Ok my wife and I occasionally pick up cinnamon roles here on Sundays after church, and they are heavenly! My wife is the one who runs in to get it usually, and she says the people who run it are genuinely awesome haha. Keep up the great work! All their flour is freshly ground at the shop too!
