We were visiting Towson, MD looking for a place to get a bite. We saw the Kent Irish Pub and decided to give it a try. The staff were very upbeat and the food was delicious. On our way out the owner stopped us and introduced himself. We enjoyed our conversation with him.

Food was very delicious and fresh, service was a little slow but they seem to do double duty as bartenders (I had to ask at the bar for food menus). We had the fish and chips and the beans and bangers and we both enjoyed them thoroughly. Overall we thought it should’ve been busier for how good it was+having off street parking around the back.

The ambiance was great and they had a good Irish music track list. The food was not that good and I’m 99 percent sure the stew was a can of Campbell’s chunky hamburger soup. Beer was warm which didn’t help.

I arrive at 5:06 because the kitchen opens at 5pm. I’m only there for fish and chips. Bartender says kitchen won’t be open for 20 mins. Ok I’ll grab a Jameson, fish, chips and wait. 5:40 I ask for my tab and how much longer for the fish and chips. Sry we are waiting on potatoes to be delivered. So my order was never placed. I won’t be back.
