What’s for Lunch? Well today I am at The Kennebec Cafe located on 20 Main St. in Anson, ME 04911. Been meaning to come here and with the extended holiday weekend, did. What grabbed my attention was the Chicken Club Burger & Fries. Before my order was ready, I got to view the food others ordered. Holy moly the portions and food presentation 5 stars. The Chicken Burger was well balanced, moist crispy chicken and as a whole full of flavor! Cozy limited seating inside with a good sized clean bathroom. In the rear a deck with plenty of seating & wonderful view. The ladies were welcoming and hard working to fulfill everyones orders. Plenty to choose from. Something for everyone, thank you…Reno

I’ve been eating at The Kennebec Café since shortly after it opened and was surprised at how great the food is! I’ve eaten their pizza, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, salads, baskets, just about everything and never been disappointed. The best detail I can give about how TKC stands out from other spots where you can grab this type of food is that they use red and yellow peppers, not just green like everyone else. It seems like a small, inconsequential ingredient in a sandwich but put with their homemade aioli, pesto, whatever you want to list they really make the food pop with flavor. The fries aren’t done in a sloppy grease vat so they taste great as well, not settling on your stomach like a brick and making you want to stop eating. I hope for many more years of great food and friendly service at The Kennebec Café!

Really tasty food with very large portions. The menu has quite a few options, plus there are specials, so there is plenty to choose from. Our group had soups, salads, sandwiches, chicken burgers, fries, and onion rings. We all really enjoyed our meals. I would definitely recommend.

If you’re in Anson, Maine, Don’t miss this restaurant! ! The food is tasty and fresh, with generous portions .I initially planned on getting takeout, but when I saw the outdoor patio, I changed my mind.
The view next to the river is absolutely amazing and adds a special touch to your dining experience. If you’re in the area, this spot is definitely worth a visit!

I cooked for 12 years, and I have to say, this is the best burger and fry combo I’ve had around this area so far. Love the inside and what you guys have done with the place. It looks great and the food is phenomenal!!! Great job!!!
