We had a lovely experience. We sat in the lounge area and ordered from the happy hour and dinner menus we enjoyed cocktails and a bottle of wine. Service was good but a bit rushed. Food and drinks were excellent except for the carrots with the filet they were so hard they were inedible and I’m extremely confused by the choice to use small water glasses as we were in constant need of refills definitely not a good choice in the desert. Absolutely love that you do bread service!

The Keg was a great restaurant to celebrate a special event!

My wife & I went to ‘The Keg’ to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The reason why chose this restaurant was actually due to seeing it on ads while watching NHL games that take place in Canada. We always joked about it & we decided to take the next step to try it out after years of seeing it. If anything, we were surprised to see a location in Arizona.

When we arrived, we were greeted by their staff. They congratulated us on our wedding anniversary, which was nice of them to do. I recommend having a reservation as there can be a wait. We waited about 5-7 minutes with a reservation. The groups who arrived without a reservation waited much longer.

When we were seated, we were asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. The funny thing was that we were asked that same question by 3 other staff members over the night. We could tell that this is the type of restaurant that many go to for a special occasion.

Our server, Noah, was great. He was attentive & helped us guide through the menu. It happened to be ‘Arizona Restaurant Week’ when we dined in, so we decided to take up their offer on the 3 course meal. We both got Caesar salads to start & they were delicious. The fresh bread that was brought to the table was incredible. I could have eaten 2 more loafs myself. The whipped butter paired well. I decided to try the blueberry lemonade. It was refreshing, but it is a bit sweet. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a tart drink.

The main entire that I ordered was the prime rib with a twice baked potato. The twice baked potato was tasty & paired well with the prime rib. I thought my prime rib was excellent. I ordered it medium rare & it was spot on. My wife ordered a sirloin with blue cheese & roasted vegetables. She enjoyed her meal as well. The only thing I would say is that the actual plating of the meal was a bit messy. It was all over the place & for the price of the meal, it looks sloppy. I personally do not mind as long as the flavor is there, but I know many would be upset over that.

We both had desserts & I personally loved the sauce on the cheesecake. We thought ‘Billy Miner Pie’ was the star of the desserts. The fireside old fashioned was good. It’s really sweet, but that’s to be expected.

We learned that if you go there for an anniversary, they’ll provide you with a free toast of champagne. This was a great perk. The champagne was solid. We really appreciated that.

Overall, we really enjoyed ‘The Keg’. It was about $75 per person, but we thought it was worth the price for a special occasion. The staff were great & welcoming. We recommend stopping in if you are looking to celebrate a special occasion.

We both had the KC strip steak. Very good!!! I had to take 2/3’s of the steak home, its big! It was my friends bday. They don’t do any special dessert for birthdays (they used to). But everything was great: food, service, atmosphere. We will be back.

I came here for a early birthday dinner and it was amazing! I got the Calamari and Mac n cheese, fantastic. They gave me an ice cream pie cake for dessert and the service was great, 10/10 would come back!!

Good food, nice service, good atmosphere. We enjoyed dinner. The seasonal veggies were the best I have ever had (I don’t like cooked vegetables). I got the Baseball steak, veggies, and a baked potato. My husband got prime rib and twice baked potato (this was my least favorite). My son got lobster bisque, steak and a lobster tail. All very delicious. My husband got a bloody Mary and I got the Orange slice Martini and a kettle one and cranberry they were all good. My son absolutely loved the bread.

My hubby brought me here for a late night dinner, it was a nice atmosphere and the workers were so friendly and welcoming. Our server Ethan was amazing and was kind enough to go over the menu and had good insight on what to recommend. The food was delicious and the bacon wrapped scallops were a first time for me and definitely did not disappoint.

Had dinner here for our anniversary and we loved this place. Food was amazing and customer service was great. The atmosphere was very nice, romantic, and cozy. We had delicious warm bread and butter while we waited for our orders, such as the Salad, Lobster tail meal and steak.
They also gave us a huge slice of delicious Oreo/caramel ice cream cake for free and $10 off our check which was very very nice of them. Truly appreciated! They definitely get a 10/10 for their service. We highly recommend this restaurant for your special occasions.

I do not understand these hype around this restaurant. The food wasnt bad, but it wasnt worth the price. The Caesar salad had almost no dressing. Service was on the slow side. The steak seasoning was almost nonexistent.

None of the food was bad. It just missed the mark for the price.

The wait staff was very friendly and made the evening very nice.

My family and I visited this location on Sunday, December 28 to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Prior to our arrival, we made a reservation and added notes requesting that iced water with straws, lemons, and complimentary bread be ready upon seating. Unfortunately, it appeared that no one had reviewed the reservation notes, as none of these items were available when we were seated.

We also had to wait a little while for our waiter to come over. I believe his name was Antonio. His overall demeanor felt a bit off, but we did not let that interfere with celebrating our daughter’s special day.

We ordered calamari as our appetizer and again requested iced water with straws and lemons. For our entrées, we ordered a prime rib sandwich with fries, two burgers well done with fries, a New York strip steak with fries and mushrooms, a shrimp dish with seasonal vegetables, and grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

When our food arrived, everything tasted good overall; however, the seasonal vegetables were disappointing. The carrots were undercooked, the green beans were overcooked, and the fries were a little too salty.

Our waiter did ask if we were celebrating anything, and we told him it was our daughter’s birthday. Since we have dined here before, we knew that a complimentary dessert is usually provided for birthdays. He presented us with dessert options and brought the dessert, and we specifically requested no almonds due to a nut allergy. Later, we noticed the dessert had been added to our bill, so we had to call the waiter back to have it removed. My advice is to always carefully review your bill to make sure everything is correct so you are not overcharged.

Overall, the food was good and we still had a nice time, but I do wish our server had shown a more positive attitude and paid closer attention to the reservation notes.
