Five stars all around for food, service and atmosphere. Even though they were very busy, our table was ready and clean. Service from Jason was beyond exceptional. His recommendations were helpful and spot on. Steaks were cooked the way we wanted, bread was warm, fries were crispy and the mushroom Neptune is a must have. Very impressed by this location and will be returning. Thanks for a great night!

We had a great experience at The Keg (Newmarket).
We started with the bacon-wrapped scallops, the cream cheese mushroom caps, and the French onion soup. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The service was spectacular, genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which always makes a huge difference.
I sat at the bar afterward and enjoyed a lovely IPA. I’m visiting from abroad, so being able to enjoy Canadian IPAs again was a real treat.
The bar itself is a nice experience, though I’d say the bar dining area could use a refresh. The space is large and has a lot of potential. With a good remodel, it could feel much warmer and more inviting. We sat near the fireplace, which was cozy and comfortable.

Came to our monthly anniversary dinner and this time I had prime rib and there was a fly. I don’t know how it gone in the restaurant and then did all my here’s a picture I went to go throw up in the washroom. I told my husband to pay the bill and we left. He said it went on his 12 ounce steak too disgusting

I came in here a couple weeks ago, my server was Lyndsey. Everything was so amazing!! I got the lobster gratinee – however I thought there would be more depth in it but the lobster sits in little dips in it. Still super amazing regardless! I also got the salmon with pistachios and garlic mashed potatoes. It was sooooo good. I loved it all! For dessert I got the mile high mocha dessert – DO NOT sleep on that, save room for it!! Honestly everything was great, food was fast and all the service staff were very kind. It was my first time ever dining at the keg because I always thought it was just for steaks and I dont eat steak. But I was for sure missing out this whole time.

came in yesterday and had Ali as our server. She was incredibly sweet and attentive. She is definitely the right personality for hospitality and made our night that much better. I hope when I come back again we get Ali:)
The matcha colada is so good!!!
Update February 16th – Came in tonight with my brother and had a server named Jason. He was soo kind and sweet. He checked on us often and made sure things were good. He even got me the missing potatoes without me asking, honestly 11/10 service. We were celebrating my birthday and he made the night a little more special! I got the salmon, as always. Soo good

Food was perfect from steak very tender and tasty to fabulous lobster. Can’t wait to visit Toronto again . I will definitely be back to the Keg.

Our server was great, the hostess sat us on arrival. The food was good. Having a side salad was great compared to just the crab cakes on a plate as in the past
The one thing that I did not line is that the vegetable for the pricey salmon was broccoli only, while others got beans, beats or asparagus. This should be similar across the board. It left me feeling that my dish was not complete

Fantastic evening, from the perfect martini to the Billy Miner pie. Our server Julia was amazing , where do I begin. From the moment we sat down at our table Julia gave us a fantastic Keg experience. Her recommendations from escargot to filet and lobster were delicious. She recommended 2 wines and gave us tasters. It was easier to make a choice . Julia I am giving you 5 stars on everything .

We all had prime rib roast. The meat quality was quite acceptable. The plate was warm. The baked potato was so room temperature that the butter didn’t soften. The roast beef was also at room temperature even after sending it back once. So we boxed one full portion to take home. Maybe we can make a sandwich or the dog might not mind too much.
