I had an amazing time on Friday night cannot lie. My server was amazing and smelled like roses 😉 However this fish was sooooo Salty I honestly think the chef was drunk and forgot he already seasoned because JFC I couldn’t even eat half. Greens were definitely canned and as a gastronome I had high hopes being I reviewed the menu before I came and the food looked great!

The past few weeks I’ve been going to KC Juke and let me tell y’all – I’d rate this place higher if I could. I try to come here w/ my man every Friday night but hoping to come out here by myself one of these nights. The food and drinks are perfect every time and the live music (Kim Keys on Fridays!!!!!) & DJ is amazing, you can’t help but sing & vibe in your seat. I always have the best time here. I love their fried catfish & cornbread, but I tried their wings last week and every bite was heaven.

The place is was good. Soul sessions are on Mondays so get there early. There is a cover charge of $10 ladies free on Mondays for soul sessions. The food is pork-free if you don’t eat pork and it’s soul food oriented. My favorite was the pasta with chicken. Side a $6 and up. They do have drink specials on Mondays but they do NOT have a bar menu. Speciality drinks can be $15+ but the vibes don’t get started till 830ish on soul sessions night. Wednesdays can be KC 2-step night where all the local old heads step out and the place turns into a club. Service is great even when the lace gets loud and atmosphere is good for that small venue. Overall I’ll come back again for everything.

We came here because another jazz club was closed. I am SO glad that we did! The food and service was Impeccable!
The jazz band playing this evening were skilled and entertaining. The staff were so hospitable and helpful, this will be my permanent jazz destination in the future.
The fried catfish was juicy with the crisp finish and the wings are to die for! Thank you, other jazz venue, for allowing me to explore this diamond in the rough! ❤️

Cool Atmosphere, music was good, waiter seemed to be nice but it should not take us 1.5 hrs to get our food!! It was pretty light when we arrived. We ordered 2 wings and cabbage plates and chicken Alfredo @10:46 (I know because I got a phone call while we were ordering). Waitress brought our drinks to us (which I couldn’t drink because I needed to eat) and she disappeared for a while. 12:22 she came to the table, apologized and said here’s to two wing plates. The chef won’t make the Alfredo…. WHAT??? We’ve been waiting this long and you tell us that the chef won’t make it??? How does that work?? She then tells us that the chef is celebrating her bday and partying, would we like to order something else. We are extremely irritated. My cousin says well I have to eat something… I can’t wait another 2 hours… She said I can have wings ready in 15min. 12:55 hits I find her and advise that we are leaving. Now our entire night is blown! It’s hard to vibe when you’ve been waiting so long for your food. Can’t drink cause your food hasn’t arrived. At this point, the music doesn’t matter. With service like this, I HIGHLY DON’T RECOMMEND

Live music was nice. I went on a Saturday around 830 or 9. Wasn’t crowded at all. It was a nice date night. Drinks were average priced. Cover was $5. I will return for sure.

Attended Monday night Soul session. 7/31/2023, Let’s just say the entertainment was on . We were celebrating my girlfriend’s 70th birthday. We had the best time. The service was good, shout to Ms. Tee she was a great waitress, and the food was lip smacking good . We had a variety from shrimp to fried, whiting it was quiet while we eating had to concentrate on a delicious plate. After food, it was party time. It was a great time had by all. Four people were in attendance. Yes, we will return.
