Stopped by The Jump Bar while in Gallatin and had a great time. The vibe was chill and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly. Drinks were solid and reasonably priced.

The real standout, though, was the dumpling soup – it was incredible! So much flavor in every bite, warm and comforting, perfect after a cold day.

Shoutout to Sylvia, our amazing server – she was super sweet, attentive, and made us feel totally at home.

They also have line dancing on some nights, which brings such a fun energy to the place. Even though I don’t dance, I still had a blast just watching and soaking in the good vibes.

Perfect spot to hang out with friends or wind down after a long day. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

3 Stars – strictly based on the food being subpar.

I’ve been here before and was excited to come back, but I felt the food quality had gone downhill.
The truffle fries were great – the Mac n Cheese dishes we ordered were really bland and lacked flavor.
Not to mention, they came out quite cold.

Our server, Sylvia, was amazing! The service definitely made the experience better.
I had told her how much I loved the Buffalo Mac, so she made some adjustments so I could have it even though it’s been taken off the menu.
She also kindly discounted my Mac after I asked for it to be heated up a bit.

The drinks are good, the service is great, the food was overall okay.

Maybe a one-off – I’d still recommend giving it a shot.

Great place to drink. Top tier service. The only thing that holds this place back is the expensive food. They can’t even microwave chili right. Or you can order a salad thats wilted and going bad. Or you can order the driest steak you’ve ever had. I want to give this place the benefit of the doubt, being in the middle of nowhere, but right down the street Stacies is putting out great food. The taco place next to it, great food. Nothing good to say about food here after multiple visits. Suggest leaning into bar food, as thats almost impossible to mess up.

Well that was a lot of fun! The place is called The Jump in Gallatin Gateway, Montana. Food, drinks, pool tables, darts, a very small casino and a live band. The band played old school country which was exactly what I needed tonight. Unfortunately, I didn’t eat because there is no way in Hades I’m paying $24 for a burger and fries unless Chef Ramsey made it himself! I did, however, have some very delicious ice cream swirled with chocolate and caramel. And, I actually got in quite a few dances tonight and made a couple of new friends! Pretty excited about that! I love to dance! I’ve been 2-stepping, waltzing and doing the swing and hustle since I was 15. I’m not professionally trained, I just happen to know what I’m doing. Overall, a very nice evening at a very nice venue.

I visit The Jump every couple of weeks with friends. I always sit at the bar and the service is outstanding! There are a couple of tvs, lending it to the atmosphere of a sports bar. They’ve always got something going on later in the evening, whether it’s bingo night, dancing, gambling events, or live music. My experience with the food, however, has been mixed. I’ve had a couple excellent meals and others that were mediocre at best. For the price and the experience, I expect better food. I do recommend The Jump for a gathering place and to find the food you like.

Went for an early Saturday lunch, so it was pretty quiet. The hostess was very attentive and friendly. We had the carribean chicken wrap – authentic spice! And the Bison burger was juicy, both came with great fries (and I’m picky about fries!). Price was affordable, good quality food, we’ll be back! There’s a nice little stage and dance floor, I can imagine it’s a great space for an event.

Go for the dancing, not the food. We’ve gone Western swing dancing a few times at the Jump. Live music on Friday. It is a great time! But we’re not impressed by the food. Everything is overpriced. The Brussels sprouts were overcooked. The cake was dry. We didn’t like either of our entrees. At $30/plate we should be impressed. Granted we didn’t have everything on the menu but we didn’t like anything we ordered.

I’ve only ste there once and I will never go back. .aybe it’s just what I got but it looked like a can of wet dogwood on a bun mixed with some peppers. I don’t know what dog food taste like but the montana cheese steak was absolutely disgusting. I hope all their food is not that bad. The customer service wasn’t the worse but it was pretty bad for me being their only customer. Not exactly welcoming. Me and my friend shared a sandwich, when she bring it out she bring 2 plates but the sandwich was one piece and we had to ask for a knife. Wasn’t the end if the world but if you knew to bring 2 plates don’t you think it should have been cut in half, even if it were for one person, I’ve never seen a cheese steak sandwich not cut in half. If they were slammed It would be a little understandable but we were their only customer

Ok the only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the service here was very slow. We were seated right away, but it took a long time for our server to greet us and an even longer time to get our food. We were there in total about 2 hours and there were only 2 of us. Our order was straight forward no substitutions, 2 drinks, an appetizer, and 2 burgers. Now once we got the food it was good and on a positive note, they do have a live band and a dance floor so you have plenty to do and watch while you wait. All of this to me makes it all worth a visit.

Lovely restaurant and bar. The food is outstandingly good and the portions are large which makes it a surprisingly good value. Staff always friendly and easygoing. And they have a dance floor!
