My fiancé and I tried this place after passing by for 3 years, and I regret not coming here in that timespan. We did not wait long for our food, drinks were great and service was great as well. The seafood boil was perfectly seasoned and portioned, and the shrimp and crab legs peeled perfectly. Will definitely make this a frequent stop!

Came in after finding the first 2 seafood options being closed for a last minute lunch. Totally worth it and will definitely come back. The crab legs and garlic Cajun butter was DIVINE. My partner really enjoyed his scallops as well.

Me and some friends went to go eat here a few days ago and the service was GREAT. However, i ordered a half pound of crab legs and the crab legs were either old or had been unfrozen too many times. The crab legs were bending, and not snapping at all. The meat was kind of hard and tasted FISHY. If you do go here, i recommend do not get the crab legs.

Original Post: The pictures are from my first visit. I can’t count how many times I’ve dined with TJS. Good food as usual. It was a gut check to only get one cluster of snow crabs on a 40 dollar plate. Just make sure that whatever you do, you try the juicy special seasoning and get some boiled eggs.
Update: We dined at TJS for our oldest sons birthday at his request. The food was just ok this visit. We were fine with the 18% gratuity for parties of 6 or more. However what I was not ok with was paying a $44 gratuity and receiving horrible service. Our waitress stayed long enough to bring the food, then disappeared. My husband’s cup was empty shortly after getting our food….no refills. I ordered a beer and asked her to bring it with my food. No beer. It took 10 minutes just to catch up to her. I still had to ask 3 times in total for one drink.
My husbad was thirsty and ready to go because of the poor service. We went to the counter to check out. Our waitress was sitting down in the front waiting area having a good time. When we walked up she hopped up and took off. No thank you for the $44 she didn’t work for or anything. I made sure to follow up with the manager. She just said “I’ll talk to her” without knowing who “she” was. Again, no problem paying a gratuity but it should atleast come with better service if we are forced to tip a certain percentage. We did not leave any extra tip.
Another note: I didn’t realize how much skrinkflation had made it into restaurants. No fault of their own, but for the weekend special to be so skimpy, but still $43 is wild. I think I’m done for a while. For now I can’t and won’t dine or recommend TJS. If I ever go back I’ll update my review.

It was very welcoming and nice inside. The service was great the food was good to just wish it was more flavor and my potatoes were hard. Taste like they don’t season their food just put all the flavor in the sauces.
