Our first time visit to The Juicy Seafood and we are so pleased that we tried it! Our waitress, Hope, was so informative about how to order all the varieties of food choices and then our food arrived very quickly in steam bags and was absolutely delicious. You can pick how you’d like it prepared by way of different seasonings such as garlic butter, lemon pepper, and Cajun. Then spices of mild, medium, hot, or Cajun hot sauces. Most of it comes with 2 boiled eggs, 2 potatoes, and a ear of corn. We got the shrimp and sausage with our choice of preparation, absolutely fantastic flavor and Hope double bagged up our togo bc of the very generous portions. Great experience and will definitely be spreading the word about this Dalton, GA restaurant experience. Thanks

Yesterday 3/5, my husband and I visited this location. It was his first time. The place was almost completely empty. It took a few mins to be seated. That wasn’t a big issue. We got seated and our waitress Linda came over a couple mins later and took our drink order. She got our drinks and we ordered a little bit after that. My husband had to explore the menu some. Well he ended up getting a no.6. I got something completely different. The food is brought out and it’s not what he ordered. So it’s another waitress who comes to check on us and she gets it fixed for him. I ended up needing a refill and I place my glass on the edge of the table. She comes over and asks is everything okay? I was like yes.. Just as I was fixing to ask for a refill that she visible saw, she walks away and I had to get her attention. This happened twice with me and once with my husband. I was REALLY thirsty. It wasn’t back to back though. I’m truly not one to complain. I just feel if I am going to pay high prices, I should get good service. We are chilled, laid back, and we DON’T feel as if we entitled to anything. It just kinda struck us the lack on observation on her part. Yes, she was training, but it was common knowledge that the empty drinks needed to be refilled. I also feel she wasn’t attentive enough. I am a good tipper. I love tipping and tip a good bit based on service. Normally I would tip around $25. If I have money to spend to go out to a high priced place, I’ve got money to tip. Yeah, she didn’t get that at all. We felt ignored. The other lady that helped us correct his food was more attentive and caring and she only visited us once and we weren’t her table.

My wife and I stumbled upon this place while deciding what to eat. It is on the other side of Dalton, where the mall is. We decided to get a $110 combo, but our server said it feeds 6-8. Im GLAD he warned us, because we ended up getting the $69? Combo for 2 instead, and STILL it could’ve fed like 4. The food was good. We had the juicy special (lemon pepper, garlic butter, cajun, etc.). The service was phenomenal, our server was very nice. Dont let a small town turn you away from a good boil restaurant. Definitely coming back!

I’m not the person to leave reviews but this crossed the line. The waitress was nice and respectful, the food was great. But when asked to speak to a manager they had said there was no manager present which I find odd because isn’t there always supposed to be a manager present at every hour ?

Only zero stars would be adequate. My daughter, who turned 12 today, choose Juicy for her birthday dinner. I informed the waitress as soon as we sat down that it was her birthday. After we finished eating, I reminded her, and she said she could bring cake but not sing because they only had 3 employees and didn’t know the song. What!!!?? Okay whatever. Comes back 10 minutes later asking if we were ready for check. No cake. I reminded her and she brought it. Really crazy. No big deal of it were an adult, but a kid? Come on now. That was awful. Won’t be back.

First the good…. Good service and the atmosphere is stellar. The bad…. The food. Based on reviews we figured we couldn’t go wrong try this restaurant. Raw oysters had a very unpleasant taste. I don’t want to say they were “bad”, but the taste lingered throughout the meal after only eating one. Typically, oysters are my favorite seafood. The waitress noticed we didn’t eat them and took them off the bill even after telling her that wasn’t necessary. My wife decided not to order anything other than a salad after the oyster experience I had, so she decided on Cajun fries and a garden salad. See photos. The garden salad was 60% egg and she didn’t eat that either. My young son and I ordered seafood boils with lobster tails, snow crab, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. The crab was overcooked and very difficult to get out of the shell, also had a “swampy” taste. My son ate his crab, I did not eat mine. We both ate the shrimp bud had to dab all the Cajun seasoning off because it was overwhelmingly salty. The lobster tails were decent. Everything had a “Chinese buffet” taste and texture including the chicken wings. That being said, I like Chinese buffet wings but not for the price as sold in this establishment. Nothing about this experience made much sense because the reviews we read were generally filled with praise. We were discussing this when my wife pointed out the sign on the edge of the table stating a discount for leaving a positive review and photo of your food!!!! It all makes sense now! Grrrr, that shady business makes me angry!

What a fantastic and delicious meal! Not to mention, even better service. Dallas, our server, did a great job in making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. My husband and I were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary and it was perfect. Of all the restaurants to choose from, since we had eaten here several times and were very pleased, we wanted to go again and boy, are we glad we did! The food, service and atmosphere was phenonomenal and it made a special occasion even more special. The wonderful manager came to our table, too. Thanks for all you do! We even bought their seasoning to use at home, but we will definitely be back!
