My sister and I walked in and was greeted by the security guard. The servers walked by as we stood there for 10 minutes waiting to be seated. Our server Shy did not check on us after our initial order, it wasnt until my sister asked for the manager that he came by the table. All the servers were walking around on their cellar phones. This is just unacceptable and the servers need to be trained over again on how to handle customers. Very unprofessional.

This restaurant was a pick by my great-granddaughter.
Upon arrival, the front doors and windows were filthy! Smudged top to bottom. The writings on the entry wall and back of booths looked like, walls in a high school restroom. It was explained to me, it’s the decor, for this location.
The security officer greeted us and moved to get a server. We were seated quickly. Our server was great. The young lady was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and made suggestions. Our orders were taken and that’s when the floor show began! Not sure who the tall heavy female was, but no one should be spoken to the way she yelled at the server.
The food arrived, had to be returned, twice. I quickly realized the kitchen staff was not interested in customer’s request, just shoving the food out. I didn’t bother to send my meal back.
Meanwhile, the tall female, berates the server again, yelling across the room from a table she was serving. No courtesy, what so ever, to customers.
Our server’s skill level far exceeds the standards in this restaurant. I can only hope she realizes her worth in the hospitality industry.
Needless to say, this will be my one and only visit here.

I want to thank my waitress, Ms. Winter, for the excellent service she provided yesterday, Monday, May 26, 2025. It was my granddaughter’s 11th birthday, and Ms. Winter went above and beyond to make sure it was special. She gave her cheesecake and sang “Happy Birthday.” She even apologized for the kids who ran out without paying, as they were in the booth across from my family’s table. She didn’t need to apologize; it wasn’t her fault. The manager never came out to check if the staff or customers were okay. You need security in your restaurant—your employees’ and customers’ safety should be a priority.

Great ambiance; calm and relaxed, friendly atmosphere and not very busy with plenty of seating. Excellent food! I had the Alaskan whiting with rice and peas and sweet potato soufflé. The server was great. The service needs some attention as no one was at the door to greet the guests so there was a little bit of ambiguity as to whether or not we were to seat ourselves. The food took a good bit but it was well worth the wait because it was so so good. Very well and appropriately seasoned. I always feel some kind of way when the tip is always included in the total cost. That’s just me. But, it is included regardless of party size. Just a heads up. All in all, definitely going back.

My appetizer was decent and fresh, besides that NOT a very clean restaurant. Also, from some reason the food portions for the seafood boils seem noticeably smaller than other places while still being the same price or higher. I feel like this little spot is a rip off. The “Bob Marley” drink is $16 and it isn’t worth that. My server was cool. Besides that, I won’t be coming back. They need to get it together.

Although the service, food, and atmosphere was great, I WON’T tolerate dishonesty.
The laminated menu says that an automatic 15% gratuity will be added to parties of 5. We were a party of 2, (look at the receipt) but the gratuity was added anyway! Unfortunately, I didn’t notice that until we left and I had left an ADDITIONAL 20% for the waiter.
People, PLEASE check your bill carefully if you come here. I WON’T BE BACK.

Baby Shower
Food (seafood boils and lemon pepper wings) was OUTSTANDING! Shy was our server and he was great. The only issue is the space itself. I get that it’s a casual eatery, but everything looks like it needs a good deep clean. Plus the film was peeling off the windows in spots, which looks really janky. I’ll still be back because of the food.
