Met up with friends at the Jughandle Inn — first time back since my 20s, and it’s pretty much how I remembered it. We went on a Friday night and it was packed with loud music and that classic “town bar” vibe, even though it’s off on the outskirts by a major NJ highway. We ordered two sets of wings (garlic parmesan and honey hot), and they were fantastic — big, meaty, full of flavor, and they leave the tips on. A little pricey but worth it. Good beer selection too, with local brews alongside classics like Miller Lite and Coors Light. I also tried the Italian chicken sandwich, loaded with diced chicken, spinach, and melted cheese on a toasted roll. You can choose chips or upgrade to fries or tots. The sweet potato fries with honey (or honey hot) dip were excellent. Only downside: you aren’t assigned a dedicated server, so we found ourselves getting overlooked at times when trying to order drinks or get refills. Between the crowd and loud music, I felt like I was yelling all night. Still, the staff is friendly and the food is great.

classic buffalo, old bay, and jerk. they were all terrific. oh and the fried cheese bites with horsey sauce. don’t skip those.
the service was great. excellent beer selection as well. we took my parents for a mid afternoon lunch on a saturday. the place was packed and busy but not uncomfortable. we got a table almost immediately and had food in a very reasonable amount of time. will definitely be back.

Welp, thought i’d give em another shot but they charge double for doubles. Bartender wouldn’t let a buddy and i give separate cards in the beginning and told us to tell them at the end to split the check and then after the shift change they were like why would we do that? Just venmo him. got wings for wing night but didn’t say it started at 8:00. Was gonna buy a shirt but not after the drinks were more than the shirt.

Been coming to the Jug for 12 years now. Food is ALWAYS ON POINT when dining in! Always have to get their Wings and Shrimp Poppers. Best Wings in New Jersey! And consistent to boot! Always have great beer and drinks available! Don’t forget that they have pool tables and a small deck to relax at overlooking the water. They have chickens roaming around the property which are really whimsical to watch. They just mind their own business which is great. Gotta be careful near the weekends. Parking gets scarce.

The food is absolutely incredible. If you’re going for wings, I would argue their Tony Bruno wings might be one of the top ones in NJ. Hard to find some good wing spots. They have an upstairs and downstairs bar. Definitely worth a checkout. I’m not big on the type of spots bar but I usually go there more for the food.

We’ve gotten take out from here in the past but today we went in and sat down to eat. They have a kid menu to accommodate the little ones. Our almost 2 year old had a burger and fries which looked awesome and obviously delicious because my daughter devoured it lol. They do have high chairs so you can absolutely bring your toddler. Even though it is a bar it does have a family feel so you don’t feel weird. The kids meals are served on a keepsake frisbee which is pretty cool. The wings are incredible! We had gotten the garlic parm and old bay and oh my god they’re delicious! We drive from northeast Philly to come eat here and we cannot wait to come back.

So I use to dash here all the time and the food smelled amazing always and the place it self looked pretty neat also I heard so many good things about the wings I had to give it a shot and we’ll the rumors was true their wings did not disappoint so much so that when I go back ima get the same ones which was the Tony Bruno sauce wings..the best. I also tried the trashcan drink and we’ll i was pretty trashed after 2 but yea all around I could see why this places parking lot is always jumping. Enjoy !!!

All I tried was the wings and that’s all you need. Some of the best I’ve ever had.
Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Each flavor was coated nicely with great slices and sauces that complimented the chicken perfectly. The Carolina Buffalo BBQ were out of this world but you can’t go wrong with any of them. Ill be back to try more.
