We’ve picked up “dash” orders from there numerous times. Today 6/19/2025, we decided to try something from there. My daughter ordered the Mac Daddy cheeseburger that came with bacon & mac & cheese bites ON the burger. She loved it! She also got some waffle fries. I got an order of onion rings & a root beer float. The O.R. were crispy! My daughter’s waffle fries were crispy! The float was delicious. Our order taker was very polite. He brought our order quickly. The only downside was a few of my onion rings were over cooked. But I made due even though the onion inside tasted different because of how overcooked it was on the outside. Even with that we would still come back for a visit!

Stopped by today for lunch for the first time. We love Root Beer stands and this one is no exception. Pull in style restaurant with a family feel and great service. Went with the chili dog, Middie, and the Mac daddy. The peanut butter on the Middie was certainly an interesting twist and the Mac daddy was spectacular. Chili dog was messy in a good way, and the root beer was top notch. Definitely go check them out this summer!

This is the 3rd time we have received fries and they look like they been cooked in week old oil… They taste very greasy.. Also the Burger meats patties are about paper thin now and there is not much to it anymore for the price.. service is still good.. but food quality and quantity is well below average..please make improvements. Food is priced above average for what we are getting.. Soybean oil tarter sauce now tastes like your eating seed oils right out of the jar..

LarderRoom…The Jug! Celebrating 90 Years! Look, if you been serving burgers, ice cream & root beer for 90 years you got my attention. Just stay in your car and a hop will be with you promptly. Classic paper menus outline your options of smash burgers, chili dogs, root beers and floats! I even tried a (fried) chicken sandwich! Order it all! Everything is hot and greasy, but it a GOOD WAY. Exactly the way you want your burger. Remember to tip. Your servers will appreciate you for it!

I had such a great experience at The Jug thanks to our server, Alex. From the moment she greeted us, she was warm, friendly, and made the whole meal more enjoyable. She even took the time to chat with me about her golden doodle, which instantly made the experience feel more personal and fun.

If I could give negative stars I would! Placed order online. Ordered a root beer float. Received a cup of root beer. Description clearly stated had ice cream. It did not. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger burger with ketchup only. Food brought to car and cheeseburger had onions on top bun along with a hair in the cheese and bacon. Husband took it back up to them and they brought me out a “fresh new burger” in under 3 minutes. My thumb print still in the top bun from checking it the first time and onions still on the top bun. Staff was just very rude and unconvinced by us having an order. Girl bringing food to the car literally playing with her hair the whole time. Probably not the best idea to play with hair while holding customers food!

The homie and I had a burger craving. We stumbled upon this mom and pop burger joint in Middletown,Ohio. It’s a classic take out restaurant where you order from your car. We had the double bacon cheese burger, Middie burger, the jug boy, loaded crinkle cut fries, waffle fries, cheese hot dog, and red cream soda. All tasted good and were very cheap. I would say the burgers are very similar to those of McDonalds but fresher and minus the Big Mac sauce. I’m impressed they have been operating since 1932. Love supporting local home grown businesses like this and will definitely be coming back in the future.

A summer must here in town. Every cheeseburger they have is incredible – they have one that taste just like Frischs Big Boy but it’s better here. Awesome management and service!
