LITERALLY- 5/5 — A Must-Visit in Miami
The Joyce in Miami is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the stunning décor sets the tone — chic, modern, and effortlessly elegant, with an ambiance that makes every moment feel special.

But the real star? The steak. Perfectly seasoned, flawlessly cooked, and unbelievably tender — easily one of the best I’ve had in Miami. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and memorable.

Their desserts are just as impressive. Beautifully presented and indulgent without being overpowering, each one felt like the perfect finale to the meal. Whether you’re into something rich and chocolatey or something light and refreshing, there’s a showstopper for everyone.

Between the incredible food, thoughtful service, and gorgeous interior design, The Joyce truly delivers a standout dining experience. Highly recommend for a date night, celebration, or anytime you want to treat yourself to exceptional food in a beautiful setting. Absolutely obsessed!!

Hands down the best fish sandwich I’ve ever tasted! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside with a tender, flaky inside that practically melted in my mouth. The buttered bun was toasted just right, adding the perfect balance of softness and flavor. I loved the subtle hint of spiciness from the spicy mayo—it gave just the right kick without overpowering the freshness of the fish. The crunch from the fried fish and crisp lettuce brought everything together beautifully.

I’ll certainly be back very soon—this one is unforgettable and I must try other dishes!!

One of my absolute favorite spots in Miami. Everything about this restaurant is amazing — the interior is super classy and high-quality, and the art all around makes it such a cool experience. The food and drinks are top of the top — you can tell the chef really puts his soul into everything. The vibe is always friendly and just perfect. And I have to mention their Dubai chocolate ice cream dessert — it’s honestly my favorite thing ever! Every single dish on the menu is insanely good, and they’re always consistent with quality, no matter when you come.

Let me start by saying that we are quite picky about food, but even so, this experience fell far below expectations.
For the big majority, this restaurant might be an “omg… amazing place,” but for us, the quality simply didn’t match the hype and the price!

We ordered:
1. Hamachi Crudo – Absolutely nothing special. Below average presentation; we expected much more.
2. Wagyu Tartare – totally lacking flavors. Not bad, but definitely nothing memorable either.
3. Japanese Wagyu Filet – Delicious, but extremely small portion for $175.
4. NY Strip – decent portion, but completely average taste for $140.
5. Ice Cream Sundae – 2 scoops of vanilla with a chocolate bar sticking out?! Terrible presentation and very cheap-tasting ingredients.
6. Wine – The highlight of the night, thanks solely to the sommelier’s excellent recommendation.

They also drop the check on the table (without asking for it) while you still having your dessert – you spend over $1,000 between 2 people- doesn’t matter – they want you to be out. Next..

Would we go back or recommend it?
Absolutely not. There are far better restaurants worthy of this price point.
I attach one photo only – the wine – it’s worth to be remembered.

We hit The Joyce in Miami and decided to sit at the bar, and I’m telling you, do that if you can. The whole night felt effortless, mostly because our bartender/server J was out of this world. She was genuinely friendly and accommodating, did an amazing job walking us through the menu, and steered us toward all the right orders. She also made a world-class Negroni, the kind where you take the first sip and immediately trust the person behind the bar. Food-wise, the prime carpaccio was excellent and set the tone right away. The off-menu French dip was expensive, but it was so worth it, easily the best French dip I’ve ever had. The burger was outstanding too, and I still can’t believe I’m saying this, but the creamed kale was incredible. We also had the chicken schnitzel and it was amazing, crispy, satisfying, and just done right. Between the bar experience, the guidance from J, and how strong every dish was, this place is a no-brainer return.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Miami right now. The burger is insane. Also love the latkes, fries, sides, everything. Super sleek and sexy design with stunning art collection. The hospitality team is amazing and everyone from the front of house manager to Chef James typically stop by each table to chat.

I m in love with this place. Everyone were very welcoming from the entry through the little like red tunnel to the server bartender and manager . Ambience is just perfection for me
They have this beautiful art all around so you can indulge your look with every view. If you re in to art is must dine in spot.
Joey was very knowledgeable with great recommendations if he is your waiter listen for his favorite dishes definitely great palate.
JP did great job with my Vesper it was delicious.
We had this kale dip served with homemade chips after which I feel like that s the best way to serve kale dish .
Beef carpaccio I can tell quality of meat is exceptional only I will recommend less plants on top especially they serve it with brasell sprouts leafs which for my taste was unnecessary was over powering for that great quality of beef. Still didn’t stopped us to enjoy dish to it s fullness once when we just avoided greens .
My friend had ravioli she really liked it for my main I took Madai fish filet which is my favorite fish and the way they serve it was perfect
That much I did even want to try a bite of ravioli s. Overall this is definitely hidden gem of beautiful Espaniola street
Ask host to take you to the restaurant and be ready for little dimmer light and curtains who hide one of the most unique places in SOBE .
Cheers and compliments to the chef as well like all team who provides 100% comfort knowledge and understanding to deliver best to your palate.
Thanks guys

My first visit at The Joyce. My wife’s second. Yes, the place has an incredibly sexy warm vibe. We sat at the bar and the service and the smiles could not be better. We felt welcomed and were taken care of in a very professional manner. As far as the food….. The salad that we shared was OK – not great, but not terrible. We ordered the $120 Chicken Parm (not on the menu). REALLY? Besides being mediocre at best, $120????? Then we had a chicken stir fry dish. again, EH. So i found the food to be very mediocre. Not great at all. (Should’ve had a steak)- We each had 2 drinks. Bill came in with gratuity at $470 – totally nuts. Even at half that would have felt over priced.

There’s a reason restaurants are considered part of “the hospitality business.” They may be a business, but the focus is on the hospitality. No one understands that better than the staff at The Joyce. Even though it’s just a few steps from the vibrant, thumping South Beach scene, The Joyce offers a quiet and comfortable oasis for locals and keyed-in travelers. The food is fantastic, the vibes are immaculate, and the wine list – like the restaurant itself – is small but thoughtfully curated. If you’re lucky enough to be in town a while, be sure to stop by on a Sunday when they go off-menu and offer Chinese cuisine in addition to their steakhouse staples. Enjoy the food, enjoy the atmosphere, enjoy the conversation, and enjoy the Joyce.

For the price, the food is egregiously mediocre. In addition, the price of the specials is literally a bait and switch. We made the mistake of ordering the chicken parm, assuming prices were in line with the rest of the menu, only to learn later it was… $120 (less than the steaks). It’s honestly laughable. I’ve had some outrageously priced mediocre meals in Miami, but never have I paid $120 for chicken parm… let alone a subpar one. It’s *convenient* they charge the card you use for the reservation without having you sign a receipt, because had they given us an in person receipt they would have had to address this. In addition to the offensive surprise pricing, the “famous burger” had a piece of solid bone in it that nearly cracked my tooth. We told them about the bone and nothing was done.

Overall this was the worst dining experience I’ve had in Miami in a long time. The ambiance is good, but it’s probably only worth coming here for a cocktail, if at all.
