The drinks were excellent, particularly the frozen espresso martini, which was a standout. We also loved their holiday drink options, which felt festive and thoughtfully crafted.
Food was overall very strong, with the highlight of the night being the pork chop. It was cooked incredibly tender and paired with perfectly executed sides. The hot chicken was also a hit and full of flavor. The only miss for us was the cacio e pepe, which did not quite live up to the rest of the meal.
Service was great throughout the evening. Our server was attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly without feeling rushed.
Overall, The Jones Assembly is a fantastic choice for drinks and dinner before a game or a night out. Great atmosphere, standout cocktails, and some truly memorable dishes. Highly recommend.
The Jones Assembly is a beautiful space with a great vibe, which made this visit especially disappointing. I really wanted to love it.
The savory ricotta hot cake (pictured) was visually stunning but ultimately pretty mid. The “hot” chicken on top had essentially no heat at all, which was surprising given the description. Definitely needs more to offset the sweet side of the dish.
The Caesar salad was the biggest issue. Yes, anchovy is expected, but this was aggressively fishy in a way that felt off. One bite was enough, and it took half my own meal before the taste finally went away. The server’s response made me wonder if that’s considered normal here.
Grilled chicken had been added to the Caesar, and while they did replace the salad with a different dressing option, they forgot to add the chicken back. My wife ended up with a plain salad and no protein for lunch. We didn’t ask them to correct it again, as service was already very slow.
The granola bowl was actually very good and generously portioned, easily enough for multiple meals.
Service overall was mediocre and sluggish. At one point I had to get up and fetch a spoon myself, and even then, the one provided was dirty.
It’s a great venue with a lot of potential, but between the food quality and the service, it didn’t live up to expectations.
This restaurant is gorgeous and the patio is great for a nice weather night.
The menu highlights were definitely the dip appetizer and the steak frites. We had two yummy mocktails (nojito and strawberry lemonade)
