I went to The Joint with my girlfriends for brunch — my first time visiting this neighborhood gem. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible through the second entrance (facing Centre Street).
First, I want to give a special shoutout to Antonio, who greeted me warmly and helped maneuver my wheelchair through the door. The restaurant has a cozy, comfortable vibe, and the food is beautifully presented — absolutely mouthwatering!
I ordered the Crab Cake Benny (seared crab cake, English muffin, poached egg, Hollandaise sauce, and breakfast potatoes). Every bite was delectable. I also enjoyed the Crispy Calamari, served with pepperoncini aioli and marinara sauce — yum! The Mango Margarita was the perfect finishing touch to a delicious brunch.
Antonio and the rest of the staff were pleasant, attentive, and genuinely helpful. I loved my brunch experience so much that I returned the following Sunday!!!
The host was nice in seating me in the back which is more private. I was told to scan for the menu which was a whole lot easier to pick and pay electronically. The food came not even 10 mins later . Quick and was hot and ready to eat.
The omelet came with toast and was so delicious. The pancakes were the highlight. Easily the best pancakes IVE EVER HAD in the state of Massachusetts. It was a little pricey but totally worth it. Visit The Joint if you want an elevated breakfast experience .
It was my first time coming to this place, I happened to stumble upon it on google being I was in area and my children and I were looking for a good breakfast place. This is cute quaint spot, a little small but seems to move people in and out very quickly. They do things differently here which was a surprise to me (in a way I liked it) so when sitting down you scan a QR code which brings up a menu, you place the order and pay right from the app, individually or as a group, which I though that was cool…In a matter of minutes give or take 10-12 min (depending on how busy it is) your food is being served to you at your table. The workers are moving all over the place so there really is no connection with one specific waiter/waitress but with a simple excuse me I need assistance and they are at your side ready to assist. Again we dined in at a VERY busy time and on this specific day unfortunately they were short staffed so the owner and others did their best!
Now let’s get to the food Wow oh wow is the best way to describe things.. I purchased a omelette which came with potatoes small portion of fresh fruit and I did a side of French toast which seemed to be a hit. And boy oh boy I’m glade I did it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ( highly recommend). My guest ordered Sweet Chili wings which were out of this world so good I ordered some to go for later.. The classic margarita pizza (individual brick oven style) was also another amazing choice. Honestly our food was Divine!! Upon looking at the people around us their food choices seemed to be as well! After finishing our meal there was no regrets coming to this hidden gem. Besides the spacing inside, and possibly having to wait a few extra minutes to get a table, (food we’ll worth the wait) left us feeling the need to definitely come back to enjoy more authentic dishes.. 8.5/10
* I didn’t see where to tip on app, ( hey maybe I missed it ) but there is a tip jar at the very front cash register, in which they all split!
