Pros: I don’t usually leave reviews but this was really good! I got the large curry goat and oxtails combo for $19. My sister also got oxtails and jerk chicken combo and jerk wings and there were also really good.

The jerk snapper is one of my faves to order. It’s extra spicy so be prepared. Call and order ahead if you don’t want to wait. The turn into the parking lot is sharp so slow down and look carefully if you are not familiar with the area. The restaurant is unsuspecting from the outside. Once you enter you get a little taste of Jamaica. The menu is full of Jamaican staple foods. The food is affordable and they give good portions. They also have an alcohol permit to serve drinks. The restaurant offers a weekend brunch. It’s always good vibes and if you come on a nice day you can sit outside and enjoy a good meal. You may actually catch the cooks grilling the fish and chicken.

Excellent service. I received my food in a timely fashion. No more than about 7 minutes. Food was hot and fresh. I think most Jamaican restaurants don’t put a lot of peas in the rice and peas dish. I prefer more peas than rice. That is my only issue. The curry shrimp were plump and juicy they gave me more than eight. Very delicious. The plantains were good just like I like them. The sweet potato cake was flavorful and moist.

I’ve always heard good things about this place but it’s a little ways out for me to get to. Today I wanted some jerk pork and saw they delivered via Uber Eats. After waiting approx 90 minutes and paying $92. The food arrived and it turned out to be such a disappointment. The jerk pork was super salty, It was difficult to consume it. The rice and peas (without any pea, not even one) was hard (rice grains was stiff) and didn’t even have any sauce or gravy to accompany it. The best thing was the plantains. The mac and cheese, hmm never seen Caribbean mac and cheese done in this style before.

I ordered a medium oxtail with sides of rice/peas and cabbage. Of note the cabbage has green peas which I wasn’t expecting. This was my first time seeing these in this style cabbage. I just picked around them. The rice has an all spice or clove taste. Also not what I was expecting but still good. The oxtail for a medium size was generous. Price was reasonable. They give you a pager to notify when order is ready. Small area to dine in if you chose to.
