I was so hungry when I saw th sign I immediately pulled up. I said this is going to be good. I got the chicken. It did not taste like jerk chicken to me seasoned but not jerk and the chicken was tastes like it was yesterday’s chicken. But I will say those greens that I had. They were the bomb I wish I had. It just got a whole plate full of greens. The plantain were good. My first time there and I was in a hurry. I ate some of the food bought the rest home but I doubt I’ll finish that chicken. I will give it another try because sometimes it’s just a bad day. Hopefully when I try the second time it will be better. Someone told me the snapper was good. Unfortunately I had an appointment so I couldn’t wait.

This is primarily for the food they sell. The food is a 1 star. The night spot is a chill vibe. The day I went, it wasn’t overly crowded. I feel if they get the food up to par and people come taste good food, they can get the crowd to how they may want it. It’s plenty of space but the food… The FOOD is horrible. The reviews are not lying. I simply ordered fried chicken and red peas and rice. The peas and rice were plain, and the chicken was NOT fresh. Please see the picture. It was not cooked to order, and the chicken had to have been more than a day old. Get your food in order like immediately. Some of the reviews are too old for me to have come recently, and I experience the same taste that others have.

Food was so good I had to call back an think the chef frfr. Real Jamaican food 100 percent authenticity. Wish it was more meat in the beef patty but was great spicy a good. I ordered the oxtail and rice a beans along with cabbage OMG everything was on point. My friend had the Mac an chesses along with rice a beans along with jerk chicken . She yelled out THEY DONT MISS. Which a good sign. The bartenders were very nice good vibes all day. They have 2-3 dollar off lunch specials during lunch hours love it.

IKYFL, I ordered Rasta Pasta with Salmon Bites it was $24. What I got was some watered down Alfredo with some crumb bites of Salmon. Glad the oxtails wasn’t ready because how you gone cook them in 20 minutes. Never Again I cook better than that!!!!

I came in and already knew what I wanted before I ordered. I asked how long is the wait before anything the slender tall young lady stated not long at all we not even busy. So I said about 15-20 minutes? She said before then. I waited and waited 37 minutes went by. That’s fine my food was fresh then she stated open to make sure you got what you asked for. Maaaaaan I had a plate full of noodles and 4 thin and small oxtails highly disappointed for the time transparency, food portion, wait time, and flavor was bland on the Rasta Pasta and the Jerk wings was amazing. I will definitely come back for a second or third chance only because I’ve given other restaurants more tries than needed. I’m really shocked at wait time and thin small oxtails.

The food was so good and seasoned just right. The pineapple jerk sauce was pleasantly delicious. This was my first time eat here and I really enjoyed it. I order the build your own bowl, with a side of cabbage. I will come back again and try something else on the menu.

The atmosphere was nice and the service was great. The biggest compliant is the food. The portions are extremely small for the price. I ordered jerk pork and I was given 3 pieces for the price of $18. The side items are $5 each and for my mac & cheese and cabbage I received a small scoop of each. The cabbage was good but the mac & cheese did not have much cheese, just some shredded cheese across the top. I didn’t take a pic but if you look at other pictures in the review, the sides did not fill the small section of the take out tray just to give a perspective. Definitely did not justify a separate cost of $5 each. That entire meal should have been $18 (or less). My boyfriend ordered oxtails and all of the oxtails were very small with little meat on the bone. He also said that it was very salty and he did not finish them all. The best side to get was the rice and peas. It tasted good and you received a decent portion. I know that this establishment is new so I’m hoping to see positive changes soon and I may try them again but not it’s not worth the cost.
