Food is good but portions are very small. Not worth the money. Large oxtails usually run me between $21-$23 and come with 7-8 oxtail, sometimes a little more loose pieces if they are feeling generous. This place came with exactly 6 and she made sure not pick up too many large pieces. This is my plate untouched and to me it doesn’t look full enough to cost me $25. Unfortunately this is my second at last time coming here. This is the hot sauce portion that I was supposed to use on a large plate. I rather drive further for a full plate of large oxtail vs 6 small/medium. I know oxtails are expensive but this is all I get at restaurants and this is by far the smallest portion on a large plate.

Well. Let me just say… I was very wrong.
I still can’t decide what impressed me more: the customer service or the food. And I’m not exaggerating when I say it was SO good. Like, close your eyes after the first-bite good.
The atmosphere? Amazing! It felt like I was at a friends house eating a home cooked meal. The kind of place that makes you want to come back before you’ve even finished your meal. They patiently walked me through everything on the menu, treated every single customer like they genuinely mattered, and did it all with smiles. And can we talk about how CLEAN it was? I love a place that looks good and smells good. It just hits different.
I don’t even know what else to add — if you don’t go here, you’re missing out.
And that’s my honest review.
I had curry gist, rice and peas, with cabbage and Plantains.
The Plantainssssssss??? So good. Nice and sweet, and soft just how I like them.

I haven’t had good Jamaican food in a while. This place was so good, it set the bar high for any other restaurant.
I’m going to be honest and say. I didn’t care for the cabbage and that was only because it was sweet, like sugar was added. But it wasn’t horrible still still ate it like I ate everything else

I had such high hopes, but I was unfortunately disappointed again. The jerk chicken was dry, and I had to throw away several pieces. The rice and peas are good, but I wish the cabbage was the traditional stir-fried version instead of a slaw. The veggie patty wasn’t what I expected, and it wasn’t good. Spicy beef patty was ok. Coco bread was just so-so. Probably won’t order from here again.

Have been looking for a good Jamaican spot for a while and I came across this place. 10/10 will definitely be here again soon. I got brown stew chicken and my gf got the curry chicken we both loved it but I think I loved it way more.

Don’t walk to this place…RUN to The Jerk Grill. Hands down, the best Jamaican food in the area. Though the place is small (one table), the flavors are huge. It’s clean, uncluttered, and their lunch specials are a fantastic deal. The two person husband and wife team should be commended and supported for a wonderful food experience. Their attention to detail is evident in the delicious food, service, and cleanliness.

OH MY GOODNESS. Awesome whole in the wall authentic Jamaican food!!! I haven’t had jerk chicken this good in a VERRYYY long time. The rice was great and great pricing as well!!! Highly recommend this place. If you have not tried it I suggest you do soon!!

I was excited when I noticed this place after a doctor appointment. Had the stewed chicken lunch special, which was favorablely priced for the portion. I asked for a bread dumpling, which was quite good. I unfortunately was not a fan of the food or any of the fruit drinks that I ordered. The service was very nice, however. I may return to try something else. The beet juice wasn’t horrible, just very different. You never know what you like unless you try something new.

Amazing gem for Jamaican food! Patties are delicious! Oxtail is amazing and the gravy is phenomenal! (picture attached). We have eaten here several times a month over the past year and have always had a wonderful meal! Great Oviedo spot!

Nice family own restaurant. Food was of amazing quantity, quality and overall taste mazing. Had the jerk chicken lunch special. Jerk and amazing with the sauce with the oxtail gravy over the rice with a little pepper kick in the rice and beans. Good Caribbean food
