My husband and I visited Jefferson Market in Ann Arbor for brunch, and it was absolutely lovely. I had the breakfast burrito with an iced latte, and he ordered the hashed beef. The food was fresh, flavorful, and really well-prepared.
The service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The place has such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, the kind that makes you want to linger a little longer.
Overall, our experience was wonderful from start to finish. Great food, great people, and a charming space. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Stopped by for a delicious brunch. The biscuits and gravy with eggs were great! The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I would definitely recommend eating here!

So if you care about going to places everybody goes because there is a vibe to them, then maybe you would enjoy this place more. I just don’t under the hype about it and I think their breakfast dishes are very ordinary. However, given my dietary restrictions I cannot try some of their more famous dishes. Over all I feel most people go there for the vibe or because it’s an old local place (this I appreciate and understand) but they can do better on their menu imo

Went here for dinner with a couple friends the other night and it turned out better than we expected. The place has a pretty relaxed vibe, not too fancy but still nice enough to sit and enjoy a meal. I ordered the burger and fries and it was actually really good, juicy and cooked right. My friend got pasta and said it was solid too. Service was a little slow at first but the server was polite and checked on us a few times. Prices felt fair for the amount of food you get. Not the most amazing restaurant ever, but def a place I’d come back to when I’m in the area again.

It’s a nice atmosphere here, but it took forever to place an order and to get our food. Granted it was busy, they felt a bit understaffed to keep up with demand. Food was good & filling— props to the cooks! Nice location close to A2 schools and church. Would recommend for a low key spot.

People, I am telling you, this place does. not. miss. The pancakes are genuinely the best pancakes I have ever had in my life. The simple breakfast is simply incredible. The vibes are, as the kids say, immaculate. Ed and Angie make you feel right at home, and they and their staff are committed to making excellent food in a welcoming environment at an affordable price. I’ve been to the Jefe dozens of times and I have never had a bad bite. Bring your taste buds. Bring your human buds. Bring your appetite. Everyone will have a great time.

First impression walking in was lovely, it’s very cute inside. I ordered a black coffee with honey, the Egg and Cheese biscuit, and a side of their potatoes. The biscuit was delicious, I added the homemade sausage patty and it was amazing. The potatoes were just “meh”, could definitely be a bit warmer.
I was unaware they don’t allow computers, which I don’t mind at all but some people might so I wanted to include that.
Atmosphere was nice, I went in around 9:45am and by 10 it was almost full. Love the knick-knacks they’ve got around the place, especially the old cameras 🙂
I would say that it doesn’t seem like the place you’d want to kick back and hang out for an extended period of time because they were busy enough to need the table back, but for a quick bite and a good coffee it’s definitely worth the trip.

Once you’re inside, it’s all worth it! I had pancakes with blueberries & lemon curd…delicious! My son had a breakfast burrito and was quite happy. The only thing that disappointed was the cup of coffee.
