We used The Jambalaya Shoppe for our sorority Parents Weekend and absolutely will be having them cater again! Mrs. Fontenot, the owner, was extremely helpful throughout the booking/delivering process and even made sure I was fed when I just came to drop the check off. Everyone raved about their jambalaya and I was extremely appreciative of how friendly Mrs. Fontenot and her entire staff was. Could not recommend enough!!! (The pastalaya and jambalaya are to die for!)

This was my first time, here, and I have nothing bad to say. The jambalaya and pork roast were great, and they have reasonable prices, too. I got it to go, but the dining area was clean and the cashier was polite and helpful. I’ll be eating here every week!

Terrible!!!
I moved from Baton Rouge 4 months ago and waited for an opportunity to eat Jambalaya in the place that “was” my favorite. Before, I opened my package and saw a piece of bread separated by a paper from a jambalaya completely stuffed with meat and I was sad with what I found today, there was no bread and something like 5 small pieces of meat/sausage, not to mention that I had to stop at a convenience of post to ask for spoons and napkins because in the bag they gave me at the drive thru there was nothing! It’s funny that the value didn’t decrease with the quality of the product offered either!

I love the pork and sausage jambalaya and white beans. Its never dry and big portions. Ive only had one mix up with food there where i received the wrong thing. The staff apologized and promptly corrected it. We all make mistakes especially when we are busy and the way they corrected it no questions ask with a smile make me happy to do business with them. Did not even get the slightest hint of attitude. I love it and definitely recommend them!!!

Loved it here, drove 30 minutes just from word of mouth that the food is always fresh and customer service top tier. I have to say I can’t deny it. From the owner, to management, to the employees I can tell it has a strong familial bond that boosts positive energy and vibes which for one like myself serves as a perfect family establishment or even if you just want to come somewhere to sit eat and have a breathe of fresh air. Definitely a restaurant I will return to on the REGULAR! Thanks for the experience guys and gals your awesome.
