We had a hiccup with the chips, which isn’t surprising in our Florida humidity. But it was quickly rectified.
They provide 2 different salsa, the green and red, with the chips.
The waitress, Jennifer, was attentive without being intrusive and refilled as she saw the need. Great job!
The food was great. And I loved that they put things in small square dishes. I am not fond of beans and am always trying to separate what I don’t eat with what I do like. So this was a wonderful way to correct issues like that and the first time I have seen it done. When you order cheese dip, it is a darn good size rather than the small shallow bowls. Added a photo to see.
Atmosphere was great and decorated. They were pleasant people and I truly enjoyed myself. I recommend this restaurant.

I love locally owned places and was excited to check this place out. It was completely empty around 5:30 pm which made me a little sad bc I know how hard it is to run a restaurant.
The decor is about what you expect from a Mexican restaurant, clean no frills. We ordered the steak and el pastor fajitas. They didn’t come out sizzling like you expect from ordering fajitas but insiders know the only reason they sizzle is bc they just pour water on the hot plate so I didn’t care that much bc it was still piping hot. So if you’re expecting the same sizzle that you get at every single other restaurant that has fajitas you won’t get it.
The tortilla chips taste store bought. Was expecting homemade tortilla chips from a Mexican restaurant which is a staple bc they are not hard to make.
The flavor of the steak and pork were very good. Generous portions and lots of meat. Most places give you mostly veggies and skimp on the meat but they give you a lot which is nice! The only thing is that there was no sour cream, cilantro, or cheese. The server didn’t come back to check on us or ask if we needed anything. They were in the back the whole time and only came back out to give us the check. There was no one in the restaurant so I don’t know why they didn’t check on us.
I would come back but only for lunch or to go so I can ask for sour cream, cilantro, and cheese bc the dinners are over $20. And I’m not going to tip a server who isn’t going to check on us when the whole restaurant is empty.
I gave it 4 stars bc I like to support small business and the food was good but you need to check on your customers after they get their food to see if they need anything else. Hiding in the back isn’t very welcoming and makes people not want to come back.

Place is delicious. And for 28 bucks i got a mountain of meat that came out in the biggest molcajete i have ever seen. I thought i was getting a plate and i got enough food for a family of 4.

The food was amazing. It was an elevated version of Mexican food. Very flavorful and the presentation was nice. The prices were reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend it.

Where is I start? 10/10 recommend. It’s a quaint, quiet, atmosphere with the friendliest service and phenomenal food! We had the #22, Pabellon, a Venezuelan dish so full of flavor it taste like heaven. And the #32, oh my, so much food and so tasty! Don’t skip out on the guacamole. They are two weeks in business but you can tell, they have put their heart and soul into this menu. I will be back for Pozole (weekend only).

Very authentic, customer service was great and food was even better. The none alcoholic environment was by far the most interesting but lovable attributes about this restaurant. Will definitely be back. Thank you

Had high hopes as it was just across the street from us and we love going to local places. Atmosphere is good. However the waitress could not speak English she went and got someone from the kitchen which was nice. I am posting the menu for u. We were able to order tacos even though they were on the lunch menu. They only have steak chicken and beef. As they stated. They brought chips and salsa. The chips were stale and the salsa was very thin and not too flavorful. The tacos were ok. Not great but ok. They would not do a chorizo or shredded beef tacos. I am hoping as they get the kinks out they will allow for those tacos as those are my favorite. Food needs more Mexican flavor in my opinion but I will give them another try in a month and see if things are better.

Took my wife here for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were recommended to go here and it was not disappointing. At first the prices on the menu may seem high, but let me tell you when the food comes out it is most definitely justified! I’m not a huge guy, but generally I can put away a large meal when I’m out. I could not finish this one! Took the rest home and it was enough for another meal for myself. The food was amazing as well. I don’t recall the name of the dish, but it had steak, chicken, shrimp, eggs, chorizo, and grilled onions. Nothing was skimped on, and the taste was amazing. We have been recommending this to everyone we know. Let’s help get this place built up and the recognition it deserves!

Great new Latino restaurant on the west side. They offer traditional Mexican dishes but where they really shine is their Venezuela cuisine. I highly recommend the Arepas, a delightful corn pancake filled with fresh avocado slices, steak and queso Fresca. Superb.
Also two thumbs for the spotlessly clean interior and restrooms.
This newly opened family restaurant deserves your patronage; you won’t be disappointed. Pensacola is home to many mediocre and just plain bad Mexican restaurants; this isn’t one of them. Stop by for lunch or dinner; enjoy.

Our food was AMAZING, affordable, and our service was top tier. We had the kindest waitress who even put Mrs. Rachel on so we could really enjoy our meal with a one and four year old. Also the restaurant was super clean – down to the highchair our baby was in which also means so much! I would definitely recommend stopping in especially if you’re local and looking for a more authentic experience. 10/10 and we can’t wait to go back!
