The Jalapeno Tree is a family owned full service restaurant with a passion for Crazy Good Mexican Food. We strive to create a family friendly environment with a focus on fresh food, quality ingredients and exemplary service. Celebrating over 30 years of business has allowed our Pepper Posse team to create unique food experiences using fresh, healthy ingredients in a made to order scratch kitchen. While fajitas remain a local favorite, items like our Summer Salmon Salad with fresh watermelon, oranges, pineapple, and salmon over a bed of greens provide refreshing options. We know rice and beans are a must for Mexican Food but, we like to change things up with offerings of squash/zucchini, tortilla soup, and Key West veggies as optional sides

Absolutely perfect. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. The service is fast and efficient. The servers are very nice. And we really enjoyed the food! We had fajitas, loaded nachos with shrimp, the John Wayne and margaritas. The food is very flavourful and everything tastes fresh and authentic. And the green sauce is spectacular!! Great Mexican restaurant, my favorite in Texas so far!!

I went to eat with my family and Jalapeño Tree was not our first choice but we are sure glad we came. Our server Lucas had an amazing attitude and took care of us to make sure we had a great evening meal. It was cold an evening but he warmed our hearts. I recommend asking for Lucas next time you come!

The food at the Henderson Texas location was good. About what one would expect. The only reason for 5 stars is the staff. From our server Nicole, and the busser Braden to the other staff we interacted with (Hagan) we felt welcomed and appreciated. Rare commodity these days.
Nicole went above and beyond to take care of myself and my siblings. Braden was always on hand to help out as well! I drove down from Ontario Canada to visit family I had not seen in years. Nicole and Braden ensured we had a wonderful visit. Hagan was super too!
I almost forgot to mention Steph, she wanted me to make sure she was mentioned as well.
But the light goes to Nicole and Braden. Thank you both for a job well done and for going those extra steps to be the great humans you are. ❤️

The place is well put together, the food was good with good ticket times. People were well spaced and wait times were very reasonable for lunch on Sunday. Our waitress was a bit inattentive, perhaps she was oversat. The rest of the staff filled the gaps and so I think we will be back and give it another try.

We had a family lunch while visiting from out of town. Nicole, our server was awesome. She was quick and precise. The food was great and so we’re the adult beverages. The tortilla soup was some of the best we’ve ever had. We will definitely return next time we’re in the area.
