We got a Bento, which comes with a choice of 2 Items (we picked the Steak Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu), 2 pieces of a California Roll (simple imitation crab and avocado), Miso Soup, Rice and Salad, and the House Special Ramen for dinner. They give a sunomono salad on the house which is always a nice and light side dish, theirs has a nice crunch with the thicker pieces of cucumber. The food was good and didn’t take too long to be served after ordering. The ramen had a good light broth, not overly seasoned, but it would have been better if the boiled egg was the typical ramen soft-boiled marinated egg instead of a plain hard-boiled egg. We liked how the steak teriyaki was cooked between medium to medium-rare and the teriyaki sauce, a nice sweet and savory balance. The chicken katsu had a nice panko crunch and soft, tender meat.

Fast service! Good food! Amazing service! We had the pleasure of having Daniel serve us he was amazing and took care of us the moment we walked through the door until the moment we left. I had the bento box and the sesame chicken was nice flaky crispy and flavorful. The pieces of sashimi I got were decently sized. I was happy with everything here I will be sure to be back!

Love this place. The ramen was perfect. Got it with the glass noodles to change it up a bit. Highly recommend!! And I love how they bring you a personal pitcher of water. Don’t have to wait for refills.

We walked in at 8:31 PM, and the restaurant is listed as open until 9:00 PM. We were told that dine-in was closed and only takeout was available, despite the fact that five tables were actively seated and eating.
Telling customers that dining is closed while others are clearly being served is confusing and frustrating. If dine-in actually closes earlier, that should be clearly stated. Otherwise, it feels like customers are being turned away simply because staff wants to close early.
We came in genuinely excited to try The Izakaya, ready to spend money and enjoy a meal. Unfortunately, this experience completely turned us off. A business open until 9 should honor that time, not shut down service early.
Disappointing first impression, and sadly, we won’t be returning.

Great tempura and sushi. The prices are very reasonable. I usually don’t like California rolls that don’t chop up the imitation crab, but their roll was very fresh tasting. I was pleasantly surprised.

This place seems popular and maybe I’m missing something but the food was kind of mid. Not terrible, not great but just ok.
I came here for lunch and we ended up getting two bento boxes. Ordered a combination of tuna sashimi, tempura, and some real California rolls with snow crab. Nothing really stood out but definitely disappointed in the “real” California rolls as the crab was kind of in a blended salad form with mayo or something. No cucumber in the roll either.
The service was prompt and friendly and there’s plenty of parking around. Wouldn’t complain if I had to return but wouldn’t pick it as a spot myself.

This is my first time visiting this restaurant. I’ve ordered a beef donburi. I find the ingredients are very fresh, especially the broccoli – they are super fresh and crunchy. The rice is too mushy and I don’t think they are using sushi rice. The fried egg is cooked to well done which isn’t typical for Japanese dishes. The portion size is generous. I find the sauce is a too sweet and I cant taste any mirin in the sauce. It could be better if they put some Japanese red ginger and chopped spring onion on top of the donburi. Overall, the rice dish is nice but I find it more similar to Chinese cooking than Japanese. Will come back again and try out other dishes.
