They made our anniversary more special.
We have several food restrictions, they went over their way to insure everything was perfect.
Highly recommend
As our first time here and after walking around the premises prior to our arrival at the restaurant, our expectations were high.
As the only vegetarian among the group of 5 I was very disappointed. While the service was great, the rest of the meal was not.
We shared the appetizers, one of which was
the Fresh Mozzarella. It was good ,though with pearl mozzarellas, tomatoes and chopped avocados in a wine and olive oil dressing it wasn’t anything special. More so after I found a small hair in mine. I pointed it out to the waitress, she apologized, removed my plate, but nothing further was said. I would have expected her to replace the dish, in the least.
I ordered the house made Gnocchi which stated pistachio pesto as one of the ingredients but the dish drowned in the pomodoro sauce and I couldn’t taste any of the pesto if there was any.
My husband ordered a seafood combo dish.
In the end, my husband and I felt both of our meals were not worth the hype.
For just 2 drinks and 5 meals and tip (mandatory inclusion) it averaged little less than $100/ person.
For that price point and the venue, the food quality did not meet the standard.
Very disappointing and would not recommend.
Our food was not good at all…..out app of meatballs we’re really meatballs, they were chunks of hamburg loaded with salt……this is an Italian restaurant, maybe the chef would figure that out……
I had eggplant parm, which had very thin sliced if eggplant, loaded with heavy breadcrumb……my pasta was cooked ok, but the sauce was extremely acidity……grated cheese wasnt of hood quality……my husband had pasta with boloegese sauce……hus sauce was delicious, but the pasta wasn’t credit that was served to him……an toung woman, probably managment came to our take to challenge my husband the style of pasta……1st of all, she needs my customer service skills……you don’t challenge a customer……at that poiint, my husband said, firget it, but what you are a certain pasta isnt correct……the served offered to do the neal again, but with the screaming of children, we said forget it……
Next we ordered coffee and dessert, again, the quality, not done well……
Have you changed chef’s, changed quality of pasta, probably, and turned this restaurant into a romper room……
When our bill arrived, it included a 20% tip……i would have liked to add what i wanted…..is this a new policy?????? We are a party of 2, not 6 or 8……
Guests were trying to flock away from the screaming kids, and we left with splitting headaches……
And with all of the mistakes from the kitchen, along with possibility of the young woman mangerment challenging my husband about pasta, there was know “I’m sorry”, “can i do anything for you”……no even comping our coffees or desserts……
This is a beautiful prestigious hotel, and a restaurant needs to stay up to standards……
I would stear clear of this restaurant if your looking for italian food, because its not italian……and screaming kids need their parents to watch over them and control their offspring…..
