I was late arriving from the airport, so I called ahead and got a takeout order 20 min before closing. You wouldn’t know it was the last meal of the night as the food was well presented and fresh. The lasagna was great and a large portion. I added meatballs but they aren’t as good as mine (ha!) Came with a salad and bread. They remembered to add butter and utensils.
When I arrived to pick up my order I saw the dessert tray and added a chocolate cannoli. And Holy Cannoli is it delicious. Plus the waitress was sweet and not rushing me. Always appreciate a great meal with a side of kindness while traveling for work. Bravo

Fun experience and we keep coming back year after year…The place was bustling on a Saturday night. The staff did a great job of communicating the wait times. The estimate wait time was 25-30 min but it wasn’t that long. The service was efficient and wait staff friendly despite what appeared to be a lot of stress! The pepperoni rolls, pizza, and salads were good! My kids love (and talk about them over the year) the buttered noodles! We will be back!

We forget about the Somerset Italian Oven as it’s on a road we don’t typically take. We ended up there this past Saturday and had an excellent meal & service!!! The chicken picatta was the best I have ever had, my husband said the lasagna with meat sauce was delicious and he’s a tough critic. The salads were fresh & crisp, bread was sooo yummy. We received experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly service. While the decor may need freshened up – it’s one of the best meals & restaurant experience we have had in a while. Well done Somerset Italian Oven

This place is about halfway between NEOhio and Washington DC, and we have stopped here twice. The service is excellent- attentive and very friendly. I love all the local sports teams and notable personalities on the wall. Pizza is very good. Sausage has a little bit of heat, which my wife and I liked. Good family atmosphere. Get off the interstate, travel an extra ten minutes, and have a much more relaxing and satisfying meal. Price is very reasonable.

The food was good. My pizza was better than the Alfredo. The decor was fun. The music was loud where we were sat. It was kinda weird that we could see into the kitchen, but it was useful at times when we forgot to order something.

We came in for dinner tonight, 4 of us with no reservation. We were seated promptly by the greeter and were given drinks immediately. We could see that the server was busy so we had time to peruse the extensive menu.
Jeananne, our server, was great, answering all our questions with patience and good humour. And then the food arrived (mozzarella sticks and fried zucchini for appetizers, then pizza, stromboli and calzones for mains) – which was all super tasty.
All in all a lovely cosy dining experience made even better by the excellent service!

Stopped for lunch on our way through town. First time here; we enjoyed our sandwiches. Classic old school Italian eats. Great menu with something for everyone. Highly recommend the eggplant, pizza and sandwiches. Their sauce was really good with fresh Italian sub rolls. The coffee was quality too! We appreciated the attentive service of Esther.

We had the best waiter in town. Our food came quickly hot and delicious. We had a very excellent experience and the food was amazing. The nostalgia of days gone by was so delightful. Glad to see they were keeping with tradition. The prices were very nice, very reasonable. There was no hurry and everybody w
as kind and friendly. Thank you so much for this wonderful memory. We will be back!

Absolutely loved it!! I hadn’t been to an Italian Oven since the late 90s and it was a nostalgic bit of my childhood that I missed and thought was gone forever. But I stumbled on this one and it more than lived up to my expectations! The food was solidly good and our server was friendly and helpful, despite visiting on Christmas Eve. The fried zucchini stood out, as well as the manicotti. I’ll definitely be back – especially since it’s a short detour on my route to visit family – and continue to enjoy their menu.

Food – super oily, curtled sauses, bland, grey, no seasoning, everything is reheated canned causes with fat and oil separation, none of us in family of five ate our meals. And we were traveling and hungry so we really wanted to like it and eat! See photos. If you think you’ll do better for your family by skipping the Burger King next door… you aren’t. Ps we paid full price despite not eating.
Waitress – never smiled at all, the entire time.
Atmosphere, only a couple of elder customers in the entire place, no music, old dingy vibes, dusty. Seems like a couple of decades ago this place was loved, buts it’s definitely been a while. Although the faded, dusty pictures of kids on the walls were cute.
