When it comes to dining experiences, some people are all about the ambiance and others are all about the food. However, when it comes to this particular eatery, it’s hard to say which is more impressive. The walk up the street to this restaurant is certainly a great way to work up an appetite, but even if you arrived there via teleportation, you’d still be impressed with what you find.

Delicious pasta and meatballs. Lovely staff. The team and cooks are wonderful. We all enjoyed their pizza after the parade.

The food was SO GOOD! We got the special fettuccine alla puttanesca. The flavor was so well balanced and it was exactly as the hostess described. The noodles were amazing and honestly I can see myself eating just the straight noodles. Definitely going to tell all my friends about it and definitely want to come back whenever I’m back in town.

I tried the Classica Piadina—a light flatbread sandwich without yeast in the dough. The Classica variation featured Prosciutto Di Parma, Stracchino Cheese, and Arugula.

A small eatery just off Market Street. I went here for a workday lunch. it seemed like a no frills kind of place but the amount of Frank Sinatra being played will make you to imagine classical NYC. You order at the counter from a variety of Italian-inspired dishes or you can choose a specific pasta to match with a choice of pasta sauce. Service was quick and efficient. The food embodied the “simple but elegant and tasty” Italian way. A worthy lunch spot on any work day.

Cute little spot and the food is even better! The lady that works there is super nice as well. If I lived in San Francisco, it would definitely a regular spot for me! I ordered the gnocchi with pesto and it was fresh and delicious. We also got an affogato! If you love ice cream and espresso get it! Definitely make a stop here if your in the area!

We ordered the veggie lasagna and fettuccine Bolognese. Both were v good! The veggie lasagna had a lot of veggies in it – bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, carrots. The photo with the half eaten lasagna shows the inside. The fettuccine was very nice too, sauce had a good amount of meat even tho it was a bit salty. Both dishes came out hot, cooked on the spot.

I thought this was a pretty high end Italian place but it kind of gives off fast food vibes because their menu is super simple and it’s self serviced – order at counter, grab your own seats, etc.

It was OK. I enjoyed it. The fettuccine and meatballs were good, but the ravioli was excellent. The Flatbread was not what we were expecting, but it was tasty.
