Crab Bombs (real crab mixed with imitation (kanikoma)) were good. Excellent for price vs size. Beautiful presentation. Could be half the size and up the real crab portion. A little big.
Lobster roll underwhelming. No seasoning.
Jerk chicken and cheese… Also mid. Sounded great. Little flavor, unfortunately. Underseasoned veggies.
Presentation of both great.
Love for great service and location!
Our server Bryce was awesome, he knows how to tell the vibe, joke back, and really makes you feel welcome!

We sat inside, at the window, with Ansley as our great server. Her timing and attentiveness was awesome, but not overbearing at all. She was sweet, polite, knowledgeable of certain menu items, and overall, a delight.
Because of my nickname, I had to order the Rico Suavé. It was a mildly tart watermelon drink. The alcohol settled to the bottom, do didn’t forget to stir. Lol. The spicy margarita was also very good, although distinguishingly different from your average margarita. Both were tasty.
For meals, we decided upon for appetizers. The Charred Jerk Chicken Wings(4 whole wings, Smoky charred, with mango habañero doing sauce), Roasted Corn Guacamole(a delicious guacamole, served with four flattened and twice fried plantains), Jamaican pepper shrimp(6 shrimp, in a cilantro lime marinade; although it had more if a lemon taste), and, our favorite, Mango Avocado Crab Bombs. Ansley told us right off that the bombs were prepared by the sushi chef, and terrified could come out at a different time than the rest. The bombs came out rather quickly. There were two mounds of shredded crab, topped with thin slices of mango, and avocado, and a subtle, delicate dispersement of roe. Along side were almost shaved slices of sweet ginger, and little stars mounds of wasabi. Very nice played, and excellent in taste. Although you have utensils at your seeing, these are also served with chopsticks.
My second drink was a Rum Runner. Although quite tasty, and served in a tiki glass, it was not as distinguishable as the Rico Suavé.
As with most places in Punta Gorda, this is not cheap, but better was the service, presentation, or the taste. Is definitely go back to try the other detectible menu items, and stand out drinks. My only dislike, which you may not be able to get away from, was the noise. It was very crowded, and I had a hard time hearing my partner, who was right across the four top from me. Everything else was awesome; especially our server, Ansley!
Waited 45 minutes at the outside seating …not bad. The food came out so fast – too fast bc it wasn’t freshly made.
Our waitress was nice. No problem here .
The food – not so nice.. three of five of us disliked our meal. Two were not impressed
My – Fish tacos were the absolute worst I’ve had. One very thin taco shell with dried out tasteless fish of some sort. Toppings were so sparse they were basically there! Just awful!
Two of us has the tacos. Two had the Cuban sandwich which neither liked. Another had some sort of dried out beef dip sandwich.
I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this place is not worthy of a good review. I didn’t think it’s going to make it.
Our waitress’s response to my comment about the dry fish was ” Next time let me know and I’ll get you some fresh fish” Gee Thanks… That’s a big help! There will be no next time.
A little pricey for such a terrible meal!
Not going back.
Overall, they have nice variety and worth a try.
We enjoyed the Caribbean Octopus appetizer, Scallops on the half shell, Tuna & Salmon Poke Bowl, and Sashimi! Wine was also a nice selection and our Rose was delicious!
