This place just opened up, went with the wife and kids to try it out and we weren’t disappointed.
If you’re a dude or can eat a lot I recommend the 5 piece as the tenders are kind of small. That’s the only knock on this place. The fries were great, the sodas they have taste great. I got the lemonade/sweet tea mix and it was amazing. Their signature sauce tastes really good and so is their sweet/spicy sauce. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

This place is exactly what Venice needed! Everyone always talks about wanting a Chick-fil-A, but honestly this is even better. It’s a great local spot with healthier options and clean ingredients, and the chicken is seriously top notch. The location right by the high school makes it super convenient too. The owners and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, which gives it such a great family feel. The Chick n Nooga sauce is amazing way better than Cane’s. It’s perfect for a quick grab-and-go meal or a nice place to sit and enjoy the beautiful outside weather while you eat. Definitely check out this new gem in Venice!

Best chicken place in Venice by far. The chicken was homemade and tasted natural and not artificially sweetened. The waffle fries were fire and the staff were insanely kind and nice. This is a great addition to the restaurants on Venice Island. I like the fact they are health conscious in selecting the quality of chicken and ingredients they use. Their chicken tenders are moist and delicious. I like the fact they also offer platters of chicken tenders. This will be perfect for parties and larger gatherings. Their selection of sauces is spot on. It has a family atmosphere, with the owners taking extra care with every order. The food came out quickly, but at the same time was hot and deliciously made to order.

Island Chicken Shack consistently serves fresh, flavorful food. The chicken is always tender and well seasoned, and the sauces are so yummy. What stands out most is the value, the quality of the food is really good especially for the price. The portions are generous, and the food comes out super fast. The atmosphere is such a fun good vibe.

Visited for the first time – great experience! Food is delicious. Chicken tenders taste very fresh and come with choice of sauce. Waffle fries also fresh. Loved my old-fashioned pineapple cream soda. Very friendly staff. Lots of nice benches for seating. Will return very soon! Feels good to support hard-working local owners!

Nice new chicken place but outdoors. Good but overpriced for what you get. We went today and were happy with the taste of the three small chicken pieces and waffle fries. The value to price is not there. Sorry just being honest. I hope they make it but will take change in favor of the customer. Us older couples will not return often unless these changes are made. Also, maybe more menu items would help. Fried pickles, fried mushrooms or cheese sticks maybe.
